The Chargers offense has made progress every game sense the bye. The offensive line has a lot to do with that. They have been better as well. Progress is not perfection but better has won games. I don't know if perfection is achieved this year, but the playoffs do seam to be achievable. The fact fingers have not been pointed is impressive to me.

I agree. They HAVE to beat the Bengals and need to at least make the BAL game very competitive as well as the KC game coming up to make me a believer in a SB run. If they go 2-3 or worse in next 5 games vs 5 solid to Elite/SB Contender teams than it's simple, this team isn't ready this yr but gonna need another off season of FA signings/Trades and another draft of drafting more Harbaugh guys.

Jamaree and alt had great chemistry in pass pro and JS is SO much better as a run blocker than Pipkins. He was moving Sweat like he was 280, not 380.

I can see joe hortiz drafting a center of the future TE#1 in the 1dt few rounds of the draft but.they will have a good amount of cap space to thow at the interior of the o-line next offseason zion and pipkins are both probably gone after this season well and bozman I just wish they would of made a couple moves before the deadline to get better at TE get better at the interior of the o-line and adding a good pass rushing DT but I also trust jim harbaugh and this is the first year and he is got this team playing really good and probably playoff bound in year one

Salyer is gonna stay as the backup cus pipkins makes too much for jim to keep him benched unless pipkins is playing super bad I dont see it happening but we do know jim wants better play their in the interior with him trying sarrel a little bit at right gaurd idk he might want to keep salyer ar right gaurd we do know salyer can be pretty good the last game he played he was terrible but it might be cus he was rusty and hasnt really got much playing time to get up to speed and he does have more experience at tackle im confident salyer can be fine if he stays starting at right gaurd and zion had his best game ever I think and hopefully he can keep trending up in the right direction

Firstly it’s only 12 that they’ve allowed this year with 9 being passes.. Only 3 of those went for 40+ yards… 2 of those 3 were garbage time TD passes (Ridley & Tillman) and 1 of those was the controversial call against Denver (Sutton in the back of the end zone) the other 6 were for less than 17 yards.. and none occurred in the red zone.. that being said I agree with you but I also believe our D can get the job done.. they’re gonna score at least once and it’ll most likely be Chase.. this game comes down to getting a lead and playing the possession game

ASJ isn’t a consistent tackler. You need corners that can hold their own if you want to continue to be a top defense. You can’t have a weak link tackling on the team, 1 play can win or lose the game. ASJ needs to go. He hasn’t improved on his tackling to the point you don’t have those stretches in the season when he keeps missing tackles and gets blocked into the side line. I’d rather have cam Hart even though ASJ has more coverage ability.

Settle down, settle down. The team is 6 and 3 and has not beaten a playoff team. The Bengals game is likely a loss, given Burrow and the fact the Bengals need to win. After that, the Chargers are going to have a hard time getting wins against the Ravens, the Chiefs, the Falcons and even the Broncos. They could easily end up going 2 and 6 to close out this season. As I've said from the beginning, this team is an 8 or 9 win team -- and this is year one in a 3 year overhaul. They are talent deficient in too many areas due to the Telesco years. But Harbaugh has provided a great foundation for this team moving forward. With cap space and draft picks, next year should be significantly better.

That is precisely the thinking that leads to silly mid-year trades and depletes rosters long term; the types of moves that fans love, but then turn and hate just a year later. Hortiz and Harbaugh have a strategy. This disconnect for the fan base is ignoring that this team is in a rebuild and will be in a bigger one next year with Bosa and others likely gone.

Minter will not be going to any other team until at least 2027. He will stay because of his relationship with Harbough and the goals that they can achieve together. Minter will choose the Harbough chargers while expanding his reputation to get what he wants when he does decide to move up the football chains
