I’m so sick of people saying the refs are just not calling anything and this isn’t ultimate. I think the biggest reason ultimate as a sport is not growing is becuase of the outrageous calls that make it so if you have played a sport in the past you’ll get called so much they are having physical plays on the disc and that is what sports are all about

I feel like the pace of play is too fast for refs to catch everything, feels like a solid number of fouls get missed each game. Either need more refs or a challenge option or something

@@CruzSD7 yeah kind of, also the rules are a bit different audl has refs and is stall 7 and has timed quarters as opposed to games to 15 or 13. club is self officiation

why even have refs if people are gonna travel all over the field, blow cutters up with defensive bids, and foul the everloving shit out of each other on jump balls? just say 'no rules' at this point. i know the audl told the refs to back off the calls and let people play, but this is getting ridiculous. this isn't ultimate.

@@captaincoconut1295 Sure buddy. It's common knowledge that the AUDL is kind of a joke compared to any club match. It's frisbee for common folk dude that's why it's played it quarters like a football game lmao. I could care less about a travel, but explain why it's fine to blatantly foul, push off, strip the disc etc. In watching these playoff highlights I've watched multiple bids into offensive players backs, that's not competitive it's just plain unsafe.

@@charlietian4023 I like how pretty much any reply has completely circumvented the things I've said. I'm aware the players in the league are good players. The AUDL is an offensive show, fields are nearly over 20 yards longer, and almost three times as wide. Playing defense is nearly impossible. I get that it is entertaining to watch, but it's like if every baseball game was a home-run derby. Every point is a huck. It gets stale. Present a real argument or gomd.
