I love the sort of Cthulhu vibe models like lictors and also the fact you can really make tyranids so many different ways is really great for just one single faction. From shooting, melee, slow tankers, flying boys, small rippers, and big giant warriors that look like they could fight a titan and possibly win is so cool.

A big part I think, sometimes its good to get more likely kills then to go for less likely ones. Marines turn one pooring a whole bunch of offence into the big boss tyranid without killing it made that turn almost useless. killing some minor bug means less minor bugs attacking you!

I don't know if I have ever seen Tycho lose with his Tyranids. I think he's lost a game or two that I have seen with his Death Guard, but god damn, Tycho always seems to be rolling hot and making an ungodly amount of saves. Maybe he really did strike some kind of bargain with Nurgle...

This was epic! Have to feel for Mubin though, that 4" fail was horrible. Loved the swarm tactics though and wiping out that squad at the end with the 10" charge was amazeballs. Still not even bought a model yet but consuming all this great content and it really makes me excited to get started!

Either quite a few missed opportunities for forcing Battle Shock on the Tyranid side, or they just failed miserably and didn't make the cut lol. Other than that, fanstastic battle report! Еdit: At 31:39 you need to flesh out the Tyranid strats, as this one gives 6+++, 5+++ if the unit is in Synapse range. Also, Muben's home objective was held by the Trygon once his heavy intercessors failed the Battle Shock test.

That and he used a stratagem on the battleshocked unit of heavy intercessors, which is how he killed the neurolictor. Its the little things that get on my nerves tbh

And I actually own all the models in this Nid list myself as well (though I've yet to paint any models of my... weather has not allowed for spray primer for 2 solid months...). Hi Play on Tabletop! I really enjoy watching your videos, however I couldn't help but notice that at 15:44 when Tyco Charged the Psychophage at the Black star. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe you cannot charge an aircraft with a unit unless if that unit has the FLY keyword, unless if the Black Star was in hover mode then I stand corrected. Thanks!

Hi! I'm actually the person who built the mini! I used a Primaris Captain for the legs, torso, cape, backpack, and part of the left arm. A watchmaster mini was chopped up for the left forearm gauntlet, tabard, the "I" armor plates on the legs, shoulder pads, servo skull, cowl, and some of the spear. The blades on the front and back of the spear were ripped off a skorpeth destroyer. The right arm holding the spear is from a Primaris Lieutenant. The helmet is from a Librarian. The left arm is from the Black Templar upgrade kit. The extra power pack is from the Hellblaster kit. I think that's it. I made it almost two years ago, so I might be forgetting something. Deathwatch is such a hard army to play. I found the most effective units is the proteus team win max thunder hammer (4 termie with TH and Storm shields, 4 vet with Deathwatch TH) joined by a Watch Master and an Apothecary

Because the Corvus Blackstar has the hover ability it gives up aircraft allowing it to be deployed first turn and charged by non-flyers.
