I’m a huge fan of story props! Over and over again I see children retelling the stories using the props!

Yay!! I've been hanging out for another one of your videos Kayla! :-D (obviously totally understand that life gets busy though haha!) Thank you SO much for sharing your current play space/set up, I have already re-watched a few parts, but I know this is definitely one of the videos I will probably choose to go back to and refer to again and again in the future too. :-) I love the nature theme to your whole play space, it really does look like a great space to foster curiosity and learning through play, which is what I believe is most important. I love the wood construction basket idea, especially now as we both have small businesses in making wooden products, I am sure that our girls, will love to mimic that too at times :-) Also love your rock owls that you made, you should do your own painted wooden log/branch people (like the ones you bought off Etsy, but your own style) as well as your amazing stampers! (no pressure, lol just a suggestion as your rocks are so cute!) Wish we didn't live on opposite sides of the globe haha!

Thanks so much lovely. So glad it was helpful and something to refer back to. It's a long video so definitely might need a few re- watches 🤣 yes I believe in fostering curiosity too, it is always the start of something wonderful when they become curious and start asking questions about things. Thanks for the suggestion lovely. Always thinking of new ideas and things that might fit in well with my shop so appreciate it. ❤️ It is such a shame we live SOOOO far apart isn't it. 🙄 Oh well... We may meet some day. Never say never. Lol. Have a lovely day xxx

Hi Clare. Thanks for watching and thanks for the love. Yes actually I have just today recorded a video about childminding, sharing more about the good and the challenges. Will be edited and posted next week so keep an eye out for it. Exciting stuff that you are thinking about it yourself. Please let me know if you have any more questions after watching the video, happy to answer. Thanks. Kayla

Ah gosh. Difficult to say without seeing it but multi use furniture is a good idea for example in Mimi's bedroom I have repurposed a unit I bought for her toys and made it into a single shelf on top and the bottom half is now a short open wardrobe with rail. If that makes sense. Obvs hard to picture with that description. Pull out boxes that you can hide away at the end of the day and pull out as needed. Slim units that take up less space. Making use of empty corners or dead space behind a sofa. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching. Xx

Hi there! Thanks for much for th lovely comments. Yes the tray came from Amazon, it's supposed to be a big wall hung tray so it has slightly slanted shelves but it works well for the purpose of a tinker tray. Tbh I'm not sure they do that exact one but you can find them through a company called Carla's treasure. Or if you type wooden tray, compartment ymtray, tinker tray etc you might find something similar on places like Amazon. Hope that help. Kayla. X

Too many ads. It really put me off watching as I had to put the volume up on the video to hear, but then the ads were at a higher volume and I kept having to re-adjust it every few minutes when another ad would pop up. Very annoying when you're lying down in bed next to your little one trying to watch something quietly. Please reconsider. Most videos only have an ad or two, not one every 4 minutes.

Ah gosh. So sorry to hear that! Thanks for letting me know. That is annoying indeed. I hadn't realised but now it has been updated so that doesn't happen. Really apologise. Thanks for watching. Xx

I enjoyed your playroom, however I am assuming you are not Christian or believe in Christ. Because if you did you would know that teaching your children yoga and meditation is just another way to invite unclean spirits into your home. It is the same as playing with a ouija board. Also Marie Currie was a known atheist. I would hope you would want your children to have a relationship with Jesus. Not the enemy.

This comment🤦🏽‍♀️ just Wow. Dont worry Jesus forgives judgemental people. If you have a different belief, respect other peoples belief.
