Looks great Joey👍. Really classic color tones and lines. Reminds me of shaker furniture.

Nice video series. The table looks great. Smile I also have the Stanley plane no.50, I find it very versatile. Due to its number of different knives.

I feel like I learn something new with every video you ever upload. Thanks for the great content as always, and I hope you and your family are safe and well.

James Lovick-Earle that is my exact sentiment. Every video I learn a little extra to help push my work to the next level. I mean that bit about taping of the back blade of a pull saw is something I have struggled with for years. Not anymore.

Does your 78 plane not have a knicker? Your work around was perfect. Always another way to get it done. Cheers.

Nice work Joey I can hear one of my old teachers saying "it's a marathon not a sprint" When it's finished, I think it would be interesting to see all of the tools you have used on the project laid out on the bench, I bet they would all fit into the old style carpenters bag. Chris

Great videos. Question? What are the the benefits of a double tenon (sometimes with a haunch) vs a single tenon?
@KingPostTimberWorks4 жыл бұрын
It's really a question of how much timber will need to be removed in making the mortise, will that weaken the timber member. As far as I know haunch is used in doors where you want the but joint to be as air tight as possible.

Nice work and a great skill builder! Curious about your bench as it looks portable from the first video but seems to be doing really well not racking or moving when you are planning and chiseling?

Hi Joey, I am one of your keen followers. Can you tell me the name of the super glue and accelerant you used. I don't think it is available in Australia. Kind regards.
