Good god... It's hard to believe that this is now considered OLD. The PlayStation 4 doesn't feel old to me at all, besides the HDD. It was and still is truly a great console. I just wish it wasn't so loud most of the time. I had one. It was loud all the time playing games. Yes, it was cleaned out thoroughly, and there was no blockages. But even with how loud it was, it made me realise what I ended up missing out on when I had an Xbox One. At least with the PS5 now, I've been able to catch up on what I missed.

Replacing both the thermal paste and thermal pads on the RAM chips help substantially with noise. Also I've heard SSDs help a lot with drive performance but not fully utilized.

PS4, ah yes back in 2015 I got my brother and I got ours on Christmas with Star Wars Battlefront bundled in. We sold it, my brother got the slim 2017 and moved out, and I got the Pro in 2018. Now it's collecting dust while I play my PS5, but I occasionally turn it on to play some games on it. Thank you Sony for making the PS4 a legend

This reminds me of my old house, 5 year old me on the couch waiting for my sister to let me play minecraft or lego games, and when my dad got ps plus and i could get lots of games i wanted and me not being able to beat them. Now I sit in my room, staring at that same ps4 which joystick pads have been bitten off by that same child. The ps4 is now mine, and my dad has a ps5.
