Nice. Was a 3 time C1 owner, 77” and 2x 48”, lovely tv. Calibrated my 77”, was my first 77”, enjoy that because it is a great tv but it is far behind 4 series TVs. In fact if you want from a PS5 to a PS5 Pro, you made less of a gain than someone who went from a C1 to a C4 much less G4, just wanted to compare apples to apples. Max Luv

I’m the type that always gets the latest upgrade but all the reviews have made me hold off for the first time because the upgrade seems so minimal. That said, I’ll still most likely get it lol. Are you saying though that the Pro on the C1 just doesn’t show as well as a C4? I definitely wasn’t planning on upgrading my TV anytime soon because I love my C1 and it should supposedly be able to handle all the upgrades of the Pro.

This is the loudest in the most annoying the PC community has ever been. And the PC community turned into Jehovah witnesses overnight trying to sell me on a PC. I don’t want to build no PC and then the lies that they’re telling I could build a PC in the same price range as a PS5 Pro. If I ever decided to go PC I’m going all the way with that 5090 GPU that’s coming out. I’m not wasting my money on a struggle PC, but I’m sticking to my PlayStation 5 Pro. Look it's up to you what to buy, that's for sure. And important thing that you are happy with that. PS5 Pro and you are happy - only sincere congratulations! Why "PC brotherhood" recommends a PC - I will try to answer. I was a PC/Console player like 10 years ago. Then for a decade a console player. I buy console for 300 bucks and play games. But games became with higher fidelity, we have less single player games and console games come to PC. So I've bought a PC and then upgraded it in a year (GPU to 4090). Ultimate experience to be honest. And graphics are tier-1, better than on PS5 and even on PS5pro. So with this it comes to mathematics. Why you buy a pro, for what goal. To my eye and judgement (and it's personally mine) - price is steep higher, while offering not so much on the plate. You have games that you've (or me in my case) played already be little bit higher in FPS and some fidelity improvement. But radically it's not a new experience. AW2, SW Outlaws, Avatar, Cyberpunk 2077 or any new game with full RTX support on 4090 - it's a day/night difference for me. And yes, sometime fps is not smooth. But I'm playing pure CGI image from 5 years ago, PIXAR level. That's why to my logic, if you consider PS5 Pro - you may consider a PC with decent GPU. That's it. You add more, but you receiving a different level visuals. And again - it's just my logic. If you bought PS5Pro and having absolute blast with it - my friend, I will only be happy for you! :))

I have a 14900k and 4090 and I still got one yesterday. All of your points are the same as I view them. Plus, we beat the headache of PC BS crashing, not working, updates, random stuff, there’s pros and cons for both but overall consoles are just so convenient and you just can’t beat that.

I'm 45 so I'm so glad that I grew up loving video games and not loving just Hardware I think people get it misconstrued talking about games when they actually worship Hardware more than have a love of the hobby of video games entertainment they get caught up in the hype of having the latest and greatest Hardware when in actuality the probably have don't have what wish they did just part of the bandwagon. I have everything Nintendo switch I can't even PC PlayStation games on tablet Xbox I grew up having everything because I loved video games people that truly love video games don't care how they get the fix I also believe it's a generational thing the 25 and under crowd mainly the easily influenced in weak-minded

We didn’t need it but it’s definitely something nice to have and if it’s an upgrade in hardware why not? People are going crazy about the speeding of money but all in all we didn’t need any of this. people spend money regardless whether it be car parts, computer parts, tvs, audio equipment and or another pair of sneakers. Very well done for canceling your purchase, man. And I am not saying anything bad about the PS5 PRO but, if you already have a PS5, then you better save or invest that money. Here in México, the PS5 PRO is $20,000 mexican pesos, which is $1,000 dollars. In my country, with that money you can buy a motorcycle, so there's no reason to spend that amount of cash on a console. That's a lot of money here and I personally don't have enough resources to spend that much.

You can get 3000 nits on your S95D on the service menu. I'm blown away with 2000 on my S95C, I can only image those 3k of QDOLED colors. You were right about QDOLED tech, I was so skeptical, but in a dark room, the picture quality is to die for

97 does not have MLA. So while it has size, for sure doesn’t have that effect.

@@AllAboutTKK True but after hearing some impressions from various folks including Brian Tech Therapy's vid and speaking to folks at Gramaphone and Value Electronics that has seen it, all of them agreed that the TV is plenty bright without MLA at that size and they didn't miss it. In fact, several mentioned the idea that if it did have MLA, most users would probably need to turn the brightness down for comfort and accuracy, especially in a dark room. MLA does have the disadvantage of losing color vibrancy at higher brightness levels and everyone I spoke to agreed that the 97" seemed to have a bit more color balance at high brightness compared to the smaller sizes. Ultimately, everyone said they would absolutely take the 97" G4 over any smaller MLA or any currently available QD-OLED as the size more than makes up for any perceived brightness differences. Not saying your 83" isn't awesome but I think if you saw the 97", it'd be clear to you which one you'd rather have (assuming $$ no object of course 😁)

Make sure VRR is on and 120hz mode...then make sure you play with your tvs various motion clarity settings as well... you may find that you can play on fidelity mode and still have buttery smooth gameplay...was able to pull it off on the last of us part 1...hope this helps

Thank. But some of those settings add input latency that creates a less than pleasurable experience for me. I used to play fighting games at a competitive/pro level back in the CRT days, 90s/early 2000s. More sensitive than most here.

@AllAboutTKK youre right, i did notice very slight input lag when using my tvs motion clarity settings, - however when using VRR the input lag wasn't noticable, to me, and it made it smooth. The problem is that many consumers can't afford nice tvs like we have that make up for what the ps5 pro lacks...all in all, you get what you pay for. Disclaimer - i also have a nice gaming rig - i bought the console because i go through seasons when I don't like to be sitting at my pc to game.

Great video, I have the G4 too, my only complaint is the EARC. The TV doesn't default to that setting. I have to manually change the sound settings everytime I turn on the TV to EARC and let it play for 5 to 10 min to kick in.

@AllAboutTKK it's aight I bought the enhanced spiderman 2 and I gotta say I'm surprised as a pc gamer it looks almost the same in 4k fidelity mode only problem is it doesnt run a smooth 60fps in 4k, it tries very hard though. I can't justify buying the PS5 pro over the PS5 ameteur just yet, wait until the price drops. Or just wait until the ps6 comes out, but who knows how long that will be or if it will cost the same or more.

Just got mine yesterday. I was underwhelmed by the games NOT enhanced for PS5 PRO barely running any different. I was underwhelmed by Hogwarts Legacy Fidelity with RT, sure it looks good and runs a tiny bit better but wasnt impressed. I then booted one of my favorite games ever. Horizon Forbidden West... and MY GOD. It was the most stellar shit ive ever seen and the way it was so smooth, no drops, very high Fidelity at 60FPS... THIS IS WHAT I GOT A PS5 PRO for!!!! SONY needs to give every game the same treatment it gave Horizon... but we all know that maybe wont happen since those huge games from SONY STUDIOS get first dibs and the best enhancement. Im telling you right now, if EVERY game from here on out will run like Horzion Very High Fidelity PRO, this will truly be a BEAST. I cant wait to see what the future games bring. SONY PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN. Im running a OLED C4 56inch OLED with 120Hz VRR

Nice video! Did you test other games yet? There's a huge list of pro and hands games with patches, and i'm curious to see, especially how the 3rd party games will run on the pro. There's only so much that Sony 1st party devs with its games can achieve because they are super talented And at times, make their games look nicer than 3rd party games imo. That PSSR is a game changer though. Heard Alan wake 2, Dragon dogma 2, FF7 rebirth is awesome on the pro! I'll be getting my pro very soon!

I connected my new ps5 pro to my lg g4 55 . Everything was fine at the start then my lg remote because unresponsive, switched off my ps5 pro and TV then turned the G4 back on to watch TV . The screen started to flicker and then the TV turned itself off and back on again . My G4 has been fine since but more testing is needed . Strange or what. This never happened with my regular ps5 .

You know, a lot of people are like "OOO my RTX card is so much better than the PS5 Pro's". However, they don't realise that Sony wasn't aiming for 'powerful' components.. I've been having an issue with my LG G4 and my PS5 where HDR will automatically turn off after a few minutes. It started happening a few weeks ago. I thought it was the PS5 but when I switched over to the PS5 Pro yesterday, the same thing was happening. Has this been happening to anyone else?

@ It looks like Sony rolled out an update a while back to PS5’s that allow you to turn Auto Low Latency Mode to Off or Automatic. Turning this setting to off fixed my issue. Do you currently have that setting off as well?

Agree with you, i got a pc and ps5 but i cant compromise with frame rate and input delay, i use the ps5 for casual/story games and exclusives but after trying 240 hz i couldnt go back

I felt like this year was a filer year for TVs so I’m waiting for the 2025 flagships to release. I’m really waiting on Sony and Panasonic to see what they’ll do next year with Sony I’m hoping for the Bravia 10 since they didn’t have a QDOLED this year which gave them two years to work on this new TV and with the PS5 Pro now out, I hope they made gaming upgrades to their TV to complement this console. And with the Panasonic, I’m hoping they have a QDOLED next year or something even better than that the showcase that they’re still a top-tier brand like they never left the states

I can't do it, I won't upgrade to the pro from my slim. I've got a QD-OLED, and the picture quality is as good as many would want it to be. As for games, i dont see too many new ones that will push the ps5 to its potential. I'll wait for a PS6 and newer games.

Hey man I'm using the C1 for maybe 3 years more or less and it's warranty expired but recently I discovered there's like two or three dead pixels that are impossible to see from where I sit but you can see them if you looked very close other than that the picture quality is still phenomenal but do you think it's worth selling or I just keep using it normally I'm kinda worried they might spread and get worse What do you recommend?

Honestly I wouldn’t use Spider-Man to show off its graphical performance. You’d see real impressive graphics with this set up on games like Alan wake 2 or both of the last of us games.

Never played either of those games, as you’ll see in later content I’ve posted. Spider-Man is a great initial impressions point of reference because I know what it looks like and from there can base growth is all. Much appreciated, I do agree though seeing TLOU is sick but how much of that is probably enhanced is hard to say on a game that I never even seen to begin with.
