It upsets me that so many people shit on this game saying how it's "so terrible" or "a smash bros clone" when this game is fun as hell. Me and my friends would always play this cause of how fun it was. Even my friend who said that this couldn't compare to smash bros could even put down the controller once he started playing. It breaks my heart honestly to know that this super fun game may not get a sequel. That's really upsetting.

The only thing that brought me toward PlayStation All-Stars when I first saw it and compared to Super Smash Bros. was when I found out that Sackboy, Kratos, Sly Cooper and Ratchet & Clank were going to be in the game. And of course, when I saw the game's opening cinematic trailer for the first time it was FUCKING EPIC! The characters all dark and fighting with their rivals in the blue PlayStation wave dimension was amazing to me and when I found out this game would be focusing on rivalry between the characters, I said, "That's it. I'm getting this game now!"

My biggest problem with Playstation All Stars: Battle Royale was that it didn't feel like a full game. It felt like a downloadable short game that you would get for $15 on PSN. There aren't that many playable characters or arenas to choose from. The game also barely had a single player campaign. I wish more was done with the game. However, it is really fun. My friend and I were joking that Playstation All Stars could be the plot layout for Wreck It Ralph 2 where video game characters are crossing into each others' worlds. Anyone else pick up on that?

Crash and Spyro were too expensive and Square Enix was going to let them use the rebooted Lara Croft but because they wanted players to experience the new Lara Croft for the very first time in Tomb Raider 2013 (which came out a few months after All-Stars), she wasn't included in the game. Maybe as a DLC afterthought but low DLC sells pretty much destroyed that possibility.

Ten years ago, when my bro and I were playing the original Super Smash Bros, we used to discuss what it'd be like if a PS2 variant existed. Playstation was a far more cartoony company back then, but we imagined the characters as being: -Crash Bandicoot -Spyro the Dragon -Ratchet and Clank (1 character) -Jak and Daxter (1 character) -Sly Cooper -Vexx (he isn't exactly a classic, but he had wolverine claws and his game was based around cool fight combos) -That Psychonauts kid I know that there were probably some licensing issues behind some characters, but not addressing Spyro and Crash Bandicoot at all seems like a massive oversight.

In Smash Bros Tornament usually are use stage with cliff because you can chain combo to trow your anemy out faster than any figthing game. If you are good you can kill from 0% to 40% and not wait till 130%.

This game does have imbalancing issues but as for Jeremy's comment about super moves: Characters like Parappa the Rapper have weak early tier super moves but they fill up faster while characters like Raiden have intense super moves but take longer to fill up. So it kinda works itself out.

It's because like Nintendo did with Brawl, they allow third party characters to expand roster (however Big Daddy fits in with the All-Star cast more than Solid Snake does in Brawl). Also o.o Bio Shock wasn't a 360 exclusive, it was also on PC.

The Uber Hero from Patapon 3. I used to love Patapon, and maybe he could have the ability to change masks from close combats to long range. I don't think too many people played the game though.

Samanosoke. His 3rd level supermove could be his transformation, at which point a finger poke could knock out your opponent, though it'd likely a big batswing with a flaming 2 hander.

i don't know if you're talking about it breaking or going out of style, but i almost never throw away a console. macs definitely. however, almost everyone i know throws PCs away because a. they do break faster (not as easily as macs but it happens) b. the next PC has at least equal capabilities the closest I've come to keeping a PC is to connect it to a ps3, basically making it a console

WTF does KC mean? Look its my opinion that kratos is the most overpowered, but he has attacks that are extremely long ranged, the forward square can lock onto any character within range, he is extremely easy to level up to lvl3, his attacks have great recovery time, lvl 1 has a huge range, lvl 3 has an attack that locks onto characters at a distance giving them little chance to escape. But please tell me what KC stands for and which caracter/s u were talking about in the previous statement.

To everyone suggesting FF Characters/Crash/Spyro/Solid Snake: FF has fighting games and vs 13 will happen. Crash and Spyro do not belong to Sony anymore and would vost too much to get into the game. Solid Snake is in Brawl so having him here would be a bit off putting, even more so because part of the reason for this game was to promote games coming out this year like Raiden's. I know there are things we want but think before you just spout something out.

For them, it shouldn't be hard to get permission to bring back Crash/Spyro for the game. Those franchises were the real reason why people cared about the Playstation, really. For many people, those franchises were their starting point that they had fond memories of. Sony should have realized that and should have tried to get permission for those people's sake. It's SONY. They are highly likely to get the rights if they actually tried to ask.

Now's a great chance for a sequel. Idk if they'll make it next gen exclusive, I doubt they will, but yea I would to get my hands on a sequel for the Ps4. Bring back all the characters from the first and add some new ones! Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and add some more levels as well. Though I wish single player was more like Smash Bros, but eh, Jeremy is right. It's more of a multiplayer and online game.

I got the game for free when I bought a controller for my PS3. I was quite doubtful but now I love it.

I'd like to see an Assassin from Assassin's Creed but with the outfits to be Altair, Ezio, and Connor... Would be nice and attacks could be with double hidden blades. (Altair had 2 hidden blades at SOME point in his life)
