@@zerosam5541 I think there are several factors at play. Dev team size, budget, and developer timelines are just three major factors. I give smaller dev teams a lot more leeway than large studios. The large studios have no excuse for releasing shoddy product.

Whichever way they try to deflect, there is no answer to the question why so long after getting 20 million+ bags of gold after original release they haven't hired help to optimise. They either don't want to, or have a reason they haven't. If they don't want to, why would they demean themselves with excuses. They are a Chinese company. What's known as "face", IE personal image, is important. Usually people don't like to lose such a large degree of face unless they have to. After living in that side of the world, I find it hard that they are willingly losing such face to say they can't do the optimisation. That's why the whole thing is off to me.

Again, they didn't have any problems. Sony money hat the game and their excuse is the series S escape goat. The reason why no one will come out and say it because in court the Judge pointed out that SONY was and still doing dirty deals. After that, Sony went quite and kept a low profile. They are documents that even SONY tell developers if the game goes on Playstation, they can not go into gamepass. THAT REALLY HAPPENED IN COURT.

The wild thing - vast majority of dudes posting and spreading misinfo on the Xbox, all they do is speak untruths and manipulate evidence. those compiled images of developers who initially stated issues or challenges with the series s, don't acknowledge any kind of conclusion of the games that devs were mentioning to be difficult to get on the series s. Just about every one of those developers and games have been able to do some almost magical stuff with those so called "potato Boxes". We hear the head of Take 2 coming out and directly saying that they don't anticipate any issues with getting GTA 6 on the series s. What's funny with the GTA concerns is that folks were saying that they wondered if GTA 6 would even release for the series s, and when we then had confirmation that GTA devs would have no issues with the series s - did the same people who were making predications that the game doesn't come out on the series s accept they were wrong? Nope, they instead said that, well of course the GTA developers would be able to get the game on the series s, if anyone is going to get their games on the series s, it's going to be Rockstar.

I think the devs are just lazy they already made their money the hype train has been cut down a peg for a while I have a series s I’m not buying the game again I have it on pc 🤷 the fact is the series s is the casuals best weapon I don’t expect a lot of series s buyers buying the game and that’s probably what the devs thing times 5 so they wanna skip it my thing is if you just wanna skip the console just say so why are they dancing around this I mean the xbox series s can run it cmon it can run dead space remake that’s a pretty demanding game for my 700 doller pc it can run space marines 2 if a developer like rockstars looks at the series s and say “nah I’d win” and still develop GTA 6 for it the devs of black myth wukong can too they’re just lazy and this is showing their true character for me they made 1 hit game and now they’re showing their colors by being lazy 🤷
