@@razorblade6027 i watched all cutscenes and in game dialogue, both the PS3 and PS4 captures. Ill sum my opinion on it real simple The interactions between each character are really well done, and they feel genuine. Joel losing his daughter and suddenly have to care for Ellie, and they grow closer to this bond of parents is very well done. The story itself is about as generic as they come. Zombie-like virus and one of the main characters is immune to it. Thats as generic as it comes. The different character interactions are done so much better than the story itself. Thats my opinion on it, here is a bonus. You know what smaller game has exactly the same things going for it? A Plague Tale: Innocence. The story is about as generic as they come about survival from the Spanish Inquisition but the interactions between especially the two main characters, brother and sister feel so well done. Small scripted moments really shows the progress of the two siblings who barely know each other, to seeing each other as family and have to trust each other. TLOU got so many rewards, and I am not really interested in it, but a Plague Tale should get at least half the rewards TLOU got. But yeah, if you absolutely loved it, good on you. Aside from watching those two story scenes videos I have no interest in TLOU or TLOU2

@goldenhedgehog94 жыл бұрын
@@Shack-lion The Autumn needed repairs but the reason it was on Reach 20 years later during the fall of Reach was due to the UNSC planning a hail Mary operation in an attempt to stop the war (Operation: Red Flag). They called back all the spartan IIs they could, upgraded the Autumn, all with the intention of sending them to try and capture covenant capital ship (CAS or CSO), find the location of High Charity from the ship's data banks, infiltrate the city and capture one of the high Prophets. The Spartans aboard the spirit of fire (red team) are considered to be weaker than the rest of the spartan IIs, though they’re the same red team are all augmentation washouts (failing the augmentation surgery, they’re bodies rejecting the enhancements killing or crippling them. However they were able to later be re augmented and deployed as proper Spartans.) Many speculate that red team got starched by atriox during halo wars 2 due to many factors: -The entirety of the team being washouts are weaker compared to other spartan IIs who survived their augmentation. -As seen in the end of halo wars, the spirit of fire goes into cryo sleep for the duration of the halo games only awaking a month after the events of halo 5. Being in cryo for that long may have led to ring rust or a phenomenon experienced when you take a (long) period of time off from fighting and not feeling as sharp as you did when you were last in a combat scenario. -Genetically red team’s bodies are around 20 years old making them significantly younger than any of the active Spartans IIs (40s) this however being disadvantage as Spartans grow stronger with age. -The armor and equipment they sport are heavily outdated. -Brutes are known to be leagues above Spartans in terms of strength, adding insult to injury they went up against Atriox.

He sends the Spartans back saying “I believe we will need every spartan in the fight” or whatever. Just a side note so you can know how badass Forge was. He picked a fight with the Spartan (Jerome, I believe) after 28:30 because he brought up the idea of killing Anders in order to keep the Covenant from gaining information. They gained each other's respect afterwards.

In essence, Grizzly tanks are equivalent to Mammoth Tanks from Command and Conquer. They’re also very awesome to make. You can make an entire army of them and lose only like two

I was absolutely, hopelessly addicted to this game back in the day. Before the first roster refresh, I had made it into the top 100 online players in the world. This was the ONLY game where I had ever gotten that good. After the roster refresh, I never cracked back into the top 100. But I still played the game ALL the time.

There's something about the first halo wars that even if you lose a match it makes you want to go back to prove something or just build a base and army again to see how militaristic it looks

i always thought one of the saddest parts of halo wars was that unsc official reports have the spirit of fire listed as lost with all hands. left adrift in space for 30 years, forgotten and presumed dead.

"Fucking took you long enough! Why did he hesitate?" Because they weren't even supposed to be on this mission as they were assigned to Harvest and now they're going even further into the fire to an unknown location, and for just one life. He's abandoning his post to save 1 life over that of the many. It just happens that one life has crucial information that the covenant could use against humanity. It's a tough call to make.

The pillar of autumn ends up at reach getting repairs after it's battle in orbit around Arcadia it's cool how the developers create such an atmosphere with little nods to lore and other games

That's not true, Halo Wars happened a long time before Reach, everything is explained in Halo: The Fall Of Reach. I recommend reading that fantastic book.

I swear I wish I would have played Halo for the first time in my early twenties. The nostalgia is great and all, but seeing your reaction I long for having those first impressions when a little more mature and appreciative of great storytelling and mission design.

While I understand why they'd want you to react to this, but honestly I feel like the first encounter with the Flood, for any player, should be on Combat Evolved tbh

Yeah, though luckily it seems like he wasn't spoiled too terribly. He was a little in the previous reaction, and a little here, but hopefully he still has a significant reaction to them. That means trying to steer clear of them until CE comes out on PC of course.

Halo 4's trilogy is focusing on , which people seem to forget spicly , the reasoning behind the forerunners designation and creation of the halos which the prophets were acclimated, which 1-3 hinted at this learning but never anyone fully learned, to learn more about but the forerunners kept much from sentient life.. including the knowledge of the prometheans and their true motivations for destroying and upheaving and ruling over species and human kind.
@LISSoundtrack4 жыл бұрын
A few things you should know. After these events, the Spirit of Fire was "lost in space" so they couldn't contact any other humans to make them aware of the threat from the flood. So all their heroics pretty much went unnoticed. They all went into cryosleep because of that, too. The story in Halo is why people love it so much. It's so deep and rich with great stories. If you react to Halo Wars 2 i would wait until after Halo 5.

What makes me really sad is that the ending credits of Halo Wars 1 was kind of Ensemble Studios final goodbye before they went defunct being their final game out of many game franchises. The studio never saw how much of a success the game became. So in a way... “Ensemble Studios dedicates Halo Wars to all our fans, we owe our success to you and we are honored by what you’ve given us over the last twelve years. Thanks - See you on Xbox LIVE!” -Ensemble Studios Hits a whole lot harder especially when they went defunct 11 years ago...

Man, this makes me wanna go back and play halo wars. Second best RTS franchise I’ve played, to be fair I’ve only ever played two, but even if I played them all nothing will ever beat the battle for Middle Earth.

The humans vs Covenant conflict is exciting but only the tip of the iceberg. The lore in Halo is so deep. I love the movies, the games, the books, and can’t wait for the show (even if they get it wrong). If you ever want to get into the esoteric histories of the Halo universe, read the Forerunner Saga. Learn who are the forerunner, where the Flood came from, what happened to the forerunners, who is the Primordial.and the Precursors, and quite possibly what all that has to do with future events and our Spartan 117. It’s fucking crazy.
