My thought is they dont want to show a gameplay not polished enough. You know how some gamers can be very critical of gameplay trailers even when unfished. So they wait. I mean look at spiderman 2, it got anounced like last year and its just recently we get a gameplay. Also I think they dont put exact date so it gives them a window to delay a game in order to polish it better instead of giving an exact date and then having to rush it.

GTA 6 will release in the fiscal year of 2025 which runs from April 2024 to March of 2025. GTA 5 and RDR2 launched in the fall of their release years. GTA 6 will come out between September-October of 2024. It will be revealed this year.

I think there were a lot of missed opportunities with this Showcase. It's not that it was bad and I realize PlayStation are trying to support third-party developers but, build up to your showcase with games from third-party developers and your Showcase is why consumers want to invest in PlayStation. What PlayStation are doing, is using their platform to market for Xbox. The PlayStation Showcase should be a mind blowing 45 minutes of why you want a PlayStation 5 over Xbox Series X or a PlayStation 6 over NextBox instead of THIS IS WHATS POSSIBLE ON BOTH CONSOLES. Show games completely exclusive to PS5, otherwise, why do we want a PS5? Third-party games are for another event, but don't tell the PlayStation community why they can also have an Xbox or that they can just keep their Xbox. It was apparently known before this Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake would come, but that PlayStation somehow couldnt manage to get exclusive rights for it. That's all I'm saying

Haven, the Studio that is making Fairgame$, is a studio started in 2021 and made up of mostly former Google Stadia and Ubisoft developers. Phantom Blade is made by S-Game, a Chinese mobile game studio. So just do with that information what you will.

Project Q - definitely a cool project… however, when doing a comparison to Xbox (which is inevitable) you can already use your smart phone, and the controller you already own, to play Xbox games from your console, or via the cloud. So why do sony want to charge for a device to be able to do this? Also, the PS earbuds… did we really need those? I feel like they’re going to be “ok” and have a hefty price tag on them.

@@MrMmitch32 what’s innovative about some earbuds and a handheld that can only be used with your ps5 console, and over wifi only. Just use your DualShock controller and a smartphone/tablet. Also, this isn’t about Sony catching up to Xbox. It’s about Sony making an L move. I’m *far* from the only one that thinks this too. It’s seems that most people are disappointed with that too.

@@JonesTheLad ….then don’t buy any of these products since they are not for you. I have a Steam Deck for porting my PC games and this Project Q looks to be perfect for porting my PS5 titles. I don’t care for playing games on my cell device because I need the battery for cellular functions. I guess I’m not in the crowd that thinks as you do. I’d rather have devices like these to be portable vs use my cell phone.
