Break out those stress balls because this time I'm talking about the PlayStation Trophies that made me Rage Quit! These are the trophies I put actual time and effort into trying to get before having to face the facts that I just wasn't good enough and the only option was to quit =(

If you're struggling with oxide focus on getting the perfect turbo boost. With the blue fire and orange fire. The more perfect boosts you get the longer you hold that speed for For tight corners use sharp turns. Release the accelerator, push square and turn in the direction. Doing this I can keep the blue flame for N gins lab

@JoeJoe Turia: The Survivor DLC can be played with an AI though, it isn't necessary to be online for that, otherwise though MP trophies need to die or they need to be in a separate list and not in the base game list. But, do generally need to die and shouldn't be for the Platinum anyway.

I seriously think there should no longer be any online trophies. And I don't see why anyone would disagree. Either no online trophies ever or online trophies are separate and don't effect your trophy list. So you can still platinum a game from Single Player trophies only and you won't be stuck if you can't get anyone for online or servers down, no one plays it anymore, and so on.

I agree. One game I would love to platinum is kill zone 2. But there is one online trophy that is impossible to get. So there goes my chance of ever getting it.

@@dxd8776 Yea man, same for Singularity, which the online is ridiculous anyway, it's one of those strict ones, like you need 6 or 7 players to play and the game cannot start unless you have that full amount and it was a terrible mode anyway for such a good game. My 2 most frustrating moments in ps4 trophy hunting: 1) Mafia 3 glitched when almost finishing the game (this game should be forbidden to be sold, it's clearly unfinished) 2) Mad Max glitched the collectibles, but couldn't figure out until i collected all of them. I really hate online games, but they're not as hateful as glitched/buggy ones.

Loved your video LudiXP, honestly Monster Hunter World with gathering all gold crowns broke me around 500 hours of grinding to just say to myself *I'm done* but i learned from that. Become the Master with Titanfall 2 is something else and i did get it been 2 years and wear it like a badge of honor.

I rage quit the Fallout 4 platnium for 2 years because of Benevolent Leader. If you know it, you know it. I tried for days to do it legit and that wasn't happening. A few months ago I booted up the game, used an exploit for thousands of caps, built a bunch of clinics, and the trophy popped a long with my platnium. Quite the redemption story, I know.

My previous rage quit but have since completed (and now platinumed)... Parappa the rapper. That 4th level with the chicken is absolutely ridiculous, the beat timing is way off. For months it drove me mad, but then one day I managed to beat it with both a good and cool rating. No idea how, and I'll never do it again 😂

'Shadow Ranger' on Metro Last Light almost broke me: [Complete the game without killing any Humans unless forced to] what does that even mean?!? It took me 6 full play-throughs to get it >.< The Arkham City trophy for doing all the 'Campaign' challenges was my lowest moment. Failed at the very last second and smashed a table. At least it wasn't the TV I guess!

You got a new subscriber! I love your knowledge on trophies. I'm extremely new to the trophy hunting world but so far I love it! It gives the games I've already beaten more meaning and longevity. I'm currently awaiting Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 to drop and I NEEDED to find something to pass the time, cause it feels like it's taking forever (not as long as I waited for Kingdom Hearts 3, but still it's taking it's sweet ass time getting here!) so I decided to give trophy hunting a go and now I'm absolutely hooked! I already got platinum on all three Spyro games (Reignited) Lego Harry Potter years 1-7 and now I'm working on getting platinum for Spider-Man which is amazing but also daunting at times. This went on way too long, just want to say I stumbled upon on your channel while looking up stuff for trophy hunting and am now a big fan! Keep up the amazing work!

I’m currently stuck and constantly rage quitting on Sly Cooper Thieves in Time (Vita) Trophy= Apollo Wins. This is due to the harder stages near the end where you have to balance the egg on a log while penguins jump constantly on your iceberg and you have to tilt the vita fast to keep it from dropping off during a timer the other stage is the catapulting penguins shooting targets of Terradactals flying across the screen it’s badly designed as 1 appears half way across the screen from the left side before you even get a chance to pull back and release 😤 I’m determined to get this done as I’m a perfectionist and 100% the other Sly Cooper titles I vow this will not stop me and will not move on until I get this done no matter how long it takes me 😌

*Edit I managed to get this trophy done earlier today after only my 2nd attempt 🤗 Now I’m stuck and increasing annoyed as hell on the “Hardest” (Bronze) trophy in the game “Hubba Hubba” 😱 this is just like playing guitar hero with the right QUTES buttons which I’m terrible at especially when the come thick and fast near the end of the 2nd wave there’s another 4 more waves after that roughly god help me 🤯😭😤

Same for me for some of those. Getting level 50 in Battlefront 2 is so obnoxious I just rage quit. The worst is not seeing the 100% on psnprofiles for those games, and getting that sinking feeling every time.

@@DJ-rf9yq Actually it isn't, its extra DLC like the Speedrun and Doughnut Drake Trophies. If you want to 100% it, then you can but try Brutal. However you don't need it to get the Platinum, as I have all 3 Platinumed without the Brutal Mode trophy. I have tried it but failed miserably on all games trying it, the game wasn't designed to be played that way.

I've never rage quitted but there were THOSE trophies that literally made me wanna rage quit.... but failed miserably 1. Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic (GTA IV) - where to start.... it's one of those hated even by the Beast, Satan and the Devil themselves, those used to torture prisoners in the worst prisons in the world. You know what I'm talking of. The infamous multiplayer trophies. It's from GTA IV and requires you to win in every type of multiplayer games (including ALL the normal races and ALL the GTA races). The worst part? It usually takes 10 hours or so and it's glitched. I got it on my 3rd try 2. The Shadows Rushed Me/Training Complete (Max Payne 3) - you know the first one, the second is a 'reach certain lvl in multiplayer' type of trophy (other dishonorable mentions being Wanted from GTA IV and Above The Law from GTA V) 3. My Kung Fu Is Stronger (Mortal Kombat) - not necessairly hard but the grind.... needless to say I just sat through it watching something 4. Mein Leben (Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus) - the same shit as The Shadows Rushed Me but 100 times worse in my opinion. Why? Well Terror-Billy can't do neither bullet time nor keep healing items with him unlike Max Payne. What's even worse is The Shadows Rushed Me is just on Medium (thanks Rockstar) and Mein Leben is on the hardest difficulity. Not talking of the time limit from Max Payne since it wasn't such a huge problem 5. Killing Machine (Resistance 2) - yet another multiplayer trophy. Why is it so bad? It requires you to reach 10000 kill count in RANKED online matches.... self explanatory 6. The Quick And Everyone Else (Red Dead Redemption) - you need to win in 3 consecutive online matches in a free for-all-session, besides it's glitched (the game sometimes refuses to connect you to the others which resets your win streak) Love your videos Ludi. Critter Crunch.....Tried to beat challenge 53 (luck based) for around 5 hours till 5 o'clock in the morning on a work day. Lo and behold two days later I managed to beat it after two hours of trying.

I always look forward to your videos, your ramblings are so entertaining 😊 The trophy or group of trophies I rage quit and still regret to this day are the online ones from Ghostbusters on the PS3. I think is was Gozer's Most Wanted that was the worst. I only had one left to tick off. It survival in the cemetery, if I remember correctly. Oh god, I'm having flashbacks. Anyway, I can never get it now as the servers were turned off :-(

I did eventually get it, but I got ticked off at the Firefly and Hunter journeys in The Last of Us. I remember all my population being at risk, and I was doing the revive one, and my three days were ending, and I finally managed to get the second revive. And then Capitol was what really pissed me off, because I needed five downs or executions in a single match on that map, but it rarely popped up, and everytime it did, I fell short due to sucking at online shooters. Lol

That Daredevil trophy for GTA Vice City was really frustrating for me too, I also only needed one more jump and it was annoying the heck out of me. Turns out it was in the alley where you take out that chef, I was so relieved and my heart was racing. If I was able to do it I am sure you can too.

As it happens, the stage for unlocking the Kid was what immediately came to mind for me when I opened the video. I loved IWBTG 10 years or so ago. Beat it on "normal", then hard, but never managed to beat very hard. Think I gave up on the Ghosts 'n' Goblins bit due to the save point drought. I don't know how long I spent on the The Kid trophy, but certainly nowhere near as long as you. Admirable sticking power! I definitely got to the second screen too. Don't think I ever made it to the third. I remember just feeling so stressed and angry with it that it was such a massive relief when I just snapped and immediately deleted the game. Unfortunately I was doing the extras as I went through the main game, meaning I never finished Super Meat Boy. A pity because I really enjoyed the flash games! All the best for your channel and at Sony. It's clear you love what you're talking about with a passion, and as another player enslaved by trophies I really enjoy your content. Impossible boy for super meat boy. It was the very last trophy I needed to get the sweet platinum. So much rage, I got to a point where I still played through the stages but didn't care much.. And to my surprise, the trophy popped up and earned platinum :) the struggle is real so I encourage you not to give up.

Yeah I too spent hours before getting thar Kid trophy. SMB is difficult, but I played another game called TorqueL which mad me rage quit pretty early in the game, it's silly hard.

There's a combat challenge map in Batman: Arkham City called "Joker's Carnival." In order to get the maximum three star award for completing it, you had to get a score of 1,000,000 or higher. I didn't rage quit, but it took me a year.

Agents of Mayhem "Contract Thriller". It's a known bugged trophy where you have to beat 15 online contracts. After I 100% the game the first time I still didn't have enough (Probably did) so I had to restart the entire game since it only has one save slot. After I tallied about 45 connected contracts on the new file I gave up. I'm pretty sure they took the online servers down eventually

A trophy that has made me rage quit for Star Trek online. It's called the path to 2409. Basically you have to collect lore books for free from a vendor but you only get one per day and there's a 24-hour cool down. There's 166 of them.and they're not giving out in sequential order it's completely random which one you get

For my second platinum I thought of doing Gran Turismo Sport... All of the online trophies would take a year of playing for me. I can’t 😢 So annoying because the % of trophies done says it’s like 50% where I’m only missing like 4 out of 40 😭

Great video Lucy! I also need the Crushing/It trophies for uncharted 4 but I haven't entirely given up yet. Maybe when I have time and get my friends together we can tackle them at some point. I dont really let not getting trophies bother me so much but the only trophy that broke me bc I had the intention of getting it was The Challenge trophy in The Witness. If I knew what the challenge was like I never would've played it bc I really wanted the plat lol. There are some games I know I won't get the plat for like the fighting games injustice and mortal kombat. I think in Injustice 2 I have to play 200 online matches!😣 Maybe it'll be possible if I do it with friends but I just accept it and move on to another game. Keep making amazing videos Lucy! I saw you mentioned the trophy for killing all 3 bosses on UC3. That one is actually one of the easier co op trophies in that game imo because you can just wait on the left side of the area for them all to gather and have everyone activate army of 3/cluster bomb at the same time. The level itself is difficult on crushing but the boss area isn’t too bad. So might be worth trying that one again before the servers shut down

Good video! For me it was 'What Else Ya Got?' in Doom. I did every single challenge in that game but one glitched on me and I could never complete it. The only way to fix is to replay the entire game which I don't want to for now!

I almost rage quite twice. In LBP3 and Rainbow Six Siege. LBP3 made me delete my adventure save file and redo the story a fourth time just to pop the platinum, and I did. :) Rainbow Six Siege made me rage quit, but come back because I thought the most tedious trophy, “Camper”, (complete a defend hostage game 100 times in terrorist hunt), had an error in the stats that made me believe that the trophy glitched, and i had to do it all again. But then i realized later that i was just a few away. Got the plat on both of these games, and I’m glad i did! (Sorry this comments so long lol).

The trophy that made me "Rage Quit" was from Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. It's called "Team Sonic" and you've got to finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th with local friends in a 10 player race.

Currently rage quitting the drinking games trophy in Watch_Dogs. Annoying because I am saving the last act until I have all other trophies so I get the plat when I finish the story. The Last of Us multiplayer (Factions) also given the amount of work required for these and how quickly you can fail. Usually when Im stuck with something I find that if I stop playing for a few days I do it straight away the next time I come back to it.

Pro tip for Super Meat Boy..... MUCH easier on Vita. The clickety clicking of the D-pad and the super low latency make it doable. I wouldn't touch that shit on PS3. And for what it's worth, that first The Boy screen is the hardest, and the third screen is the easiest. I'm here to encourage you. YOU CAN DO IT!!

Got my 4th platinum trophy 30 mins ago.And that is for Uncharted Drake’s Fortune.Since June 23rd i got 3 platinum trophies.1st was for rdr2,2nd for batman arkham knight and now uncharted 1.Starting now my crushing play through for uncharted 2 and i am already nervous about beating Lazarevic on crushing difficulty.He was hard af to beat even on normal settings

If you ever want help with the U4 Survival mode Crushing trophies let me know. I used to help out a lot of folks. And your Uncharted stealth video guides were a big help to me over the years. Probably Final Fantasy X ultimate weapon related trophies. When I first played FFX trophies weren't available. But I remember trying to complete the game and I went full rage on some of the side quests and mini-games you had to complete to earn the ultimate weapons in that game. I will likely never touch FFX again now that trophies are available. I dread the amount of time I would have to sink into those to platinum that game.

Doing the fire realm in God of war on give me God of war nearly gave me permanent migraines, fast forward a year later, I decid to say fuck it, go do the story then I got the blades of chaos and the game became a cake walk. Starting a game like Persona 5 on merciless when you have never played a Persona game is a sure fire way to have a bad time. Enemy grunts were easy as piss, THEN Kamoshida steam rolled me and I gave up for a year, I only realised to late that you can enter and leave palaces whenever, so a year later I grinded some, beat Kamoshida and then I got creamed by Madarame, took a few months off, came back to it with much stronger personas and beat his ass. I finally learned the game mechanics and am now on my new game plus playthrough/ platinum playthrough. Cute as always Lucy
