Bro, If you've got a hacked Vita already then the only thing you need to Jailbreak a new Vita is your existing Vita memory card. there's a setting in the settings that removes the identity checker from the card. This allows your card and any games and programs on it to be used on another Vita. So as long as you have all the tools necessary for the jailbreak installed on the card you can infinitely reuse it to hack all your other Vita systems

PS Vitas are pretty cool and the 1,000 does seem like your best choice for the model

Only if you have a grip to put it in. When you're playing PS1 classics, PS2 remakes like GoW and Ratchet & Clank, Gravity rush, Tearaway or even just remote play then you can't touch the back touchpad at all because it's used for things like L2/R2, so you get major hand cramps because the touchpad is so much bigger than the 2000 so the rear finger space on the 1000 is literally half of the rear finger space on the 2000.
