@@jaydenalvarez2637 Simple answer: yes, but the oculus quest 2 might be better depending on your priorities with a VR headset Long answer: I mean, the PSVR is probably the bottom of the barrel for mainstream VR headsets but it still works as a good VR headset, the only problem I have with it is the controllers, oh and if you dont have a PC its basically just PSVR vs oculus quest 2, but the oculus quest 2 without a pc probably has less games than the PSVR, however the oculus quest 2 is better in general from what I've heard, they're similar prices (I think, I found PSVRs for ~300-600, and OQ2 for ~300-400) so for roughly this price I personally would get the oculus quest 2, do with this information what you will, have a good day. Edit: also the PSVR screen is 720p which is weirdly low considering it's a VR and there is something called the screen door effect with the PSVR which basically means it kinda looks like you're looking through a screen door but it's not as noticeable as you might think from the name anyway that's all

That was a really good instruction video. Simple and clear. I don't suppose you will make one for those who use an amp to connect to the PSVR? I have one that I need to bypass through for the surround sound and took me a while to work it out. But again, excellent video

It's crazy that we went from plugging in a processor unit with its own separate power source, two HDMI Cables, a USB to Micro-USB Cable, and a VR Headset Connection Cable to use the PS VR to plugging in a single USB-C Cable to use the PS VR2.

For no usb problem You actually need a certain usb mini B cable as they’re not all equal the one that worked for me (should say B on the connector part) try plugging it into the back of ps4 and into the psvr box if that doesn’t work try the front of ps4 then into the psvr box but has to be correct cable or it can’t handle the data transfer so probably needs to usb 3.0

As someone who owns a PSVR2, I'm glad that the process is so much simpler as all you need to do is plug the headset cable into the USB C port and you are good to go. Whereas with the original PSVR the set-up process is just a mess.

You might have Version 2 which, according to a video from the main Playstation YT Channel, should plug the Headset right into the Processor Unit instead of having an extra box.

After trying this device at a friend's some weeks ago, I am real curious to buy it some time. :) But the experience also made me want to ask something: Can you guys (Sony) please just edit it somewhat to prevent the lenses from getting moistured? It may just be due that my body generates quite some heat, but every time I used it, condensation built up on the glasses inside, making it hard to see things clearly. Some ventilation of sorts in the eye-section/room of the aparatus might fix it, or something. It also felt too small for my head, so different sizes or more adjustable fits might be needed? Could that be done, this would be a even greater thing to use for games. ^_^

My PS5 connects to an A/V Receiver. Can I connect the "out" to my A/V Receiver? which then outputs to my T.V? (I'm prepping for PSVR2) In fact, I'm thinking of putting in a 2 port switch: 1 will output to 1 T.V. (room T.V. with entertainment and general gaming) and 2 will output to another room dedicated to V.R... challenge would be the "proprietary connector" to the headset.... I can't get an extension to reach room 2 (adjacent to room 1)
