I honestly really like that they avoided making Daruk a big strong oaf. The man is simple, but he isn't stupid. He just genuinely wants the best for everyone and even keeps up his optimistic outlook after he dies. While most of the cutscenes of the Divine Beasts locking onto Ganon are bittersweet, or in Mipha's case just plain sad, Daruk's still carries a hope for the future. That Hyrule is still alive and there's still something to fight for. Daruk is underrated as hell.

Exactly! I don't understand how many people don't see it. He's the only champion who said sorry for dying, which meant he treated the battle as much his responsibility as Link's. This is just one of the many good things I can point about him. I still think he's got the most mature character despite his seemingly carefree personality, and the most emotional cut scene too.
@fireradfieritis89534 жыл бұрын
The Gorons have never been, by any means, stupid oafs, at least from what I've seen. They are a strong, hardy people of the harsh mountains and their way of life reflects that. They value strength, but that doesn't mean they're dull which is something I can appreciate from the Zelda series. Big =\= stupid. Daruk, Darunia, the Goron Elders of Twilight Princess... I think they all fit that category and that's great.

He’s also a great leader. The minute revali confirms the return of ganon in the lanayru memory, he immediately tells everyone to gear up and get to their divine beasts. Very nice gameplay! Youre so cool, Goro! Hey, some useful tips: - you can charge EVERY attack (one handed, two handed, lance, rods, etc...). Try to build power. You 'll use stamina, but worth it. - while in the air ,you can arrow in the head. The time will slow down for a moment and the headshot deal a good damage , since its critical. - you can toast/burn food directly in the floor when walking in Goron City or any volcanic place without the need of fire. - the rock octorocks, they suck air and then spit out magma rocks. You can just throw any rust weapon when they sucking air and they will polish it for you, spit it back right in your face. Its a really nice feature.

"anyway, as I was saying... what's that over there?" this game in a nutshell edit: You really should start leveling stamina now. You have more than enough hearts to go until the endgame, and having the iron lungs that is max stamina makes this game so much more fun!

This playtrough is all sorts of amazing, whether you're blasting guardians with a cannon or solving puzzles the hardest way, even though I've played myself, I'm always like, Whoaaa, you can do that?

I'm so glad for the timing of this series haha. I was just about getting into checking out other people's reactions to the game when your first botw video dropped, and I gotta so it's been really exciting and fun to see someone not used to the series have so much fun with it. You're really entertaining too so this whole series has been a blast and I can't wait to see more!
