As an outsider to Fifa, and I realise this may ruffle some feathers, but I don’t see any real difference to when I owned Fifa 13 in terms of gameplay. Then again, maybe that’s just me.

No it's not just you. The common consensus is that each fifa is just a £60 roster update with minute changes that don't exactly feel that different. Look at angry Joe's madden videos for more details over EA's laziness.

You usually have to skip a few seasons to notice a big difference. I only own the 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2018 copies of Fifa. The difference between 2008 and 2011 is huge. Even 11, 12, and 13 are different noticeably imo. But the more recent ones I don't know. It's sad because I really thought that the PS4 gen would be great for sports video games, especially when you look at all the other games from different genres that have been all-time greats. We've been spoiled for choice. But sports games have generally stagnated heavily and are riddled with microtransactions, and the laziness and apathy is just on display year after year. What a pity.

I think you are right. At the very least they should have at least made ai teams player different. Ie Preston North End should not have 95% pass accuracy and be playing tika taka

The gamespeed looks too fast. Feel like super sonic robots kicking the ball around. Ball is magnetic to their feet and players turn around too smoothly like well oiled machines. I hope they will tone them down significantly.

Played a lot of Fifa 21 and can 100% not tell a difference. Most players still move unnaturally despite of "hypermotion".
