If this game has an even deeper customization suite upon release it’ll be like the biggest thing ever. If people can really create like 12 hour long shooters with campaigns and rendered characters and then you can have a save state this game will be one of the most important landmarks in video game history. The potential is insane but I think it really depends on how much people take to it.
@JZStudiosonline6 жыл бұрын
Remember Project Spark on Xbox that tried to do the same thing? Seems like the biggest thing this has over that is more visual customization.
@MountainKing6266 жыл бұрын
JZStudios Project Spark wasn’t nearly the same thing. Dreams is a full suite. 3d designs from scratch. Animation by puppeteering or deep key framing. Full audio suite including imported audio and voice recorded audio. Complete visual logic programming that can achieve anything coding can do. To name a few ;)
@Creatorof30006 жыл бұрын
Why would it need to be deeper?
@MajorisMons6 жыл бұрын
@@JZStudiosonline Also Spark consist of pre made assets, and some of those assets were put behind a pay wall. Seriously, why would MS decide to limit their player base level of creativity based on how much they/it was willing to spend on individual items? Project Spark =/= Dreams, at all.

I'm definitely going to try to make a Halo build when this comes out. Who knows, there might even be HUD tools added into the sandbox.

Snowy some people have actually made huds into the games and someone has even made a halo type fps which even shows the remaining ammo on the gun itself

Dreams is amazing

This looks amazing. I can’t wait for this. Long story short for anyone wondering what this is. It is basically a console version of Roblox. You can either create your own game or play a game another person has put effort into. It looks great. Can’t wait.

This game is gonna be killer, just think you pay for one game and get virtually unlimited games in return plus the option to create your own

So these guys made a user friendly game editor that rivals unity and unreal huh. Imagin games being made by the dream engine, this could be the first game to ever succeed where other games failed

I had a guy come in my 5th grade class and he said he was a game developer. I was immediately interested so I asked his what game he was working on. This was 2-3 years ago and he said the code name for it so far was “Dreams” don’t know if this is it...just reminded me of that guy...

I'm glad Dreams is on PS4. Because, One, It wouldn't survive a micro second on PC with Blender, Maya and others that do the job 10 times better. The only thing it would have over them is its UI is light years better. Two, Its about time something like this came to console.

The difference is, Blender and Maya are too technical for layperson. Dreams is very easy to use and casual oriented. Sure, it will never rival professional tools but if an average Joe who have never touch 3D modeling before can make pretty decent Dead Space clone in like a week, alone, then this tool shows its true potential there.
