I miss Heroes but when I saw the Super Divers arcade machine, I was blown away at how well everything involving the display synced with the game. My only complaint are the rates, I wasn’t pulling anything good as frequently as someone would in Heroes. I’ll give the game an 8/10, it’s very fun with the Heroes inspired actions and mechanics.

I'm not a card /tcg player /collector, but I imagine that the cards being played in the way they are in this game seem to be a higher risk of card degradation than the previous hero's 10:37 🤔(correct if I'm mistaken 😅) especially if they have to maintain the machines with sanitizers of some kind. Obviously I imagine collectors probably have a separate set of cards for play. But it's just something I thought about. 😅

​@@dabonethug I'd say it's more of a matter of adapting the gameplay to a completely different device and also having a dev team to maintain updates. DIMPS for example have to handle Divers and Legends, so adding a mobile version of the former or a port of the latter would probably overload the studio

At this point we don't know if all the crazy what if stuff is going to be in divers so that's why I personally want another one

Looks better than I expected for the Heroes successor, in terms of gameplay. Visuals are obviously a big step up, the game is promising and all. Having the old Heroes collection turn into paperweights is a slight bummer, but what I dislike the most is that Divers doesn't have an original story for now. Say what you want about Heroes but the original story and characters were something that made it stand out. If the game lives on for many years, there's a good chance that would change, so I'm hopeful about it.

Jesus these machines are massive, gotta imagine they're much more expensive to produce and maintain since they have so many different LCD panels Also with how intricate the gameplay is in Divers compared to Heroes we probably aren't gonna see a home system port, I just can't see how they'd adapt this touch-based control scheme on keyboards and gamepads. A localised version for phones and tablets would be sick however - you have enough screen space in terms of width to implement the three-screen format
