How do you get that tone when you're doing vibrato at 0:17?

If you're referring to the high pitched squeal sound he did a pinch harmonic.

This beathyfull solo came right on time for trying it out in the weekend. IT got a lot of bending and pullofs and makes it sound so beathyfull. Thank you for showing us how to play Smooth.

hey, man i just started playing guitar 3 months ago and im still learning, mind if u tell me how u do that technique at 2:37 ?

Hello and thnx a lot for your visit and comment! Those are called octave notes. You can play them by putting your first finger on the A-string and your pinky on the G-string. In the vid you can see that I mute the other strings with my second finger otherwise the sound will be really blurry and you can't hear the octave notes seperately anymore. Hope this was a bit helpful. PtG :-))
@baileybeluga4252 жыл бұрын
@@PlaythatGuitar i don't know how to mute strings yet, but i tried doing it and it sounded not exactly good, but im slowly getting the hang of it. I just kept on buzzing the supposedly muted strings. I appreciate your help a lot, Thank you :))
