When you die, 999 goes up to BF’s skeleton and gives him a slime hug which revives BF and restores his health to half - 999 goes back a bit in the song but not all the way, making the player repeat the part they died on and maybe a bit before but not forcing them to restart. However, misses are retained (and there’s probably a reduction in score to prevent infinite score being achieved) However, pressing R would make the entire song restart in case youre trying to full clear but are having difficulty doing so
