This proved what my playgroup and I realized a long time ago, that if there isnt an early combo out, high power can absolutely take down a cedh table. They just need the game to get past turn 4 so thier slower value engines can take over

The missed Selvala trigger is why, even though I like collecting Japanese foils for my main deck, I still have an English foil Selvala. I know I would forget the trigger so many times.

As a Sisay main, I feel saving Selvala was the best option you had to responding to Path. I obviously don't know your list or your hand, but without dockside, or another bloom tender type dork available, you're losing your main mana loop option in that situation. With the mana left available while spells were still on the stack, there's nothing that you could've grabbed to start looping after resolutions. It felt like your best option available. Love the content!

I've stayed away from CEDH because I personally am not a fan of infinite combos, but I still want to try and get into it one day. This is what I wish every game of CEDH looked like. Just a bunch of dudes chipping away at each other until someone wins. It was a very tense game with ALOT going on. This was my favorite video so far :)

My LGS just had their cEDH tournament last night. 70 minute rounds, 5 full pods and almost each pod went to time/turns/draw each round. cEDH has become very midrange

that selvala play. You float mardu with selvala. Let swords reslove. Spin sisay for lavina (not in your list). Aminatou. Swing Talion on Cam. get a gold Flicker the Impskir and cross your fingers that Tyler draws interaction. your left with 5/5 sisay and Gold. You can also spin oko. and elk. Yuriko or Marchesa. Or just cross you fingers and spin Lotho. knowing that table MUST double spell at least 2x this turn cycle. This is proably the best cuz skyturtle likely keeps you alive depending on the plays coming up You had options. just none that would result in a win this turn. well timed swords by cam.

As a Sisay player, I'd never spin for Aminatou in that position. Lotho with a Bowmasters in play (and a Talion under you) is begging to die. If that was a Dismember, I would have gone for a Agatha Soul Cauldron, then tried going up the chain right there or waited. But bouncing the Selvala and replaying it, was probably the best way to go.

•24:08 BMC is not a may. •Reanimate on Imskir loses 8 life, not 5. Couple oversights (it happens) Love BMC in all EDH, sometimes feels too slow for CEDH. (I tested it in Tivit with academy manufactor for awhile.) and I play it in mono black & orzhov (lotho/kambal)

Nice game! Just so you know, there _is_ a way out with Touch the Spirit Realm near the end: just send Imskir to the command zone! That way, it doesn't come back at all.
