Questionable mulligans and scrys aside, you should almost always grab thalia over arbiter against burn (on the company) unless you have a ghost quarter (which you did not). He was able to kill the arbiter then play a swiftspear, whereas he'd only be able to kill the thalia with 3 mana instead. Always nice to see modern D&T, which I found to be favorable against everything but aggro creature decks. Cheers!

Hey Im curious to know how D&T faces up against other disruptive decks, like ponza and 8-rack, both of wchih typically represent a less aggressive clock and a more controlling lock. Just wondering what people thought about those matchups, I just can see how they'd go down, Thanks

Love the content! Also, got a question for you: Do you think Gideon black blade Is good enough for D&T? It's a creature all the time, so plussing it then flickerwisping to plus it again seems like a value play. Also a 4/4 indestructible seems pretty nice for 3 mana. Keep up the nice work!!

That's not how flickerwisp works.

Potentially, but it is a nonbo with thalia and is more fragile in modern due to path and dismember. Also the 3 drop slot is generally pretty full, and bouncing to get only one more keyword ability is actually one of the weaker things you can do with a flickerwisp (and I'd be inclined to want to reach 6 or 7 on Gid asap instead of reset him). That said I also WANT him to be good in modern, but am skeptical.

Flickerwisp brings the permenant back at the beginning of the next end step. You cannot activate planeswalkers during the end step.
