I am confused on what they said about giving things death touch and when he said he’d change how he battles after spiff casts his removal on kenobi’s commander, their is three parts to combat, beginning of combat declare attacks declare blocks, after attacks are declared things can be done before declare blocks, it’s how half of white’s combat tricks work. I believe that after he declared his attacks spiff should have been baked to cast a spell before blocks are declared (because instant) which would have allowed him to alter how the Tyranid player would block. I could be wrong if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure kenobi lied to spiff there. Because if he cast the removal on the deathtouch giving card then as a result of state based effects before blocks are declared they would loses deathtouch.

I think Wizards made Szarekh the face commander of that deck to lower the power to match the other decks. Cause with Trazyn or the other guy I feel like it's significantly better out of the box than the other 3
@Dreadnote-pf7of
@Dreadnote-pf7of Жыл бұрын
Yeah, Szarekh feels Awesome little less strong than he should. For effect that triggers only once each turn his resurrection is kinda weak, maybe it could return straight to battlefield or just target any arti-creature or vehicle, not just out of three milled... Or atleast just milled this turn, doesn't matter with what effect, that would be cool. Not both of this buffs, but just one, so we either get more explosive janky top-deck stuff with putting big guys into battlefield or just more variety of stuff (and this would be more thematic, like necrons would, you know, remember all the stuff they lost, when all their monolith got burried and could bring them back... And right now Szarekh feels more like an explorer that dig through the deck and instantly forget everything he doesn't take RIGHT NOW... Not very necron-y to me) . Because right now his effect feel... Well, not that amazing and really lower the power-level of whole deck.
@aedangiffin1471
@aedangiffin1471 Жыл бұрын
@@Dreadnote-pf7of Yeah basically his recursion effect is way to restrictive - either of the changes you suggest would buff him significantly but I don't think he'd be overpowered... Obviously could be broken with cards like Sensei's divining top but that's not really problematic in this format lol. Seems like the 4 decks at the same table make for a solid game though so that's good!
