Hi! Love your games, I own both Everdell and Root digital :) Hope there will be some QoL updates to Root though, the UI is pretty meh when compared to Everdell, especially when it comes to keeping track of opponent's movement/resources since you have to click on their icons.

I have the Terraforming Mars board game, when people play competitively, and optimally. Victory just boils down to which cards are drawn by who, and watching the game unfold like that is pretty boring the second time. So it's important to make it a collaborative experience, and shift the goal to completing victory objectives as fast as possible as a group.

My folks and I love playing this game. Interesting that compared to the board game (at least the version I have), the replaced Husband/Wife with Gatherer/Harvester.

I love the animal theme to this game. The gameplay loop and card based systems really don't do it for me though. I wish more animal inspired games would derive from card systems.

i read a lot of the books back in elementary school and middle school, i thought the game might be based off it and i didnt hear him say redwall until i just rewatched the start of the video
