This will probably be your best friend nowadays if you wanna score waves with less crowd -> A 4/3 wetsuit.

surf ability does not kook proof you. How would you like to get stuck in the impact zone after the first set wave because you had to avoid someone who just dropped in on you? Also that person and their board might be in the line of the surfers trying to take off on the next set waves. Surfing needs to bring community back.
