The United States has been involved in numerous conflicts around the world, leaving many of these nations in chaos afterward. In each case, America's involvement directly or indirectly contributed to the long-term instability and devastation of these countries. 1. Korean War (1950-1953) → Division of Korea, ongoing tensions, and an isolated North Korea. 2. Vietnam War (1955-1975) → Political and economic chaos in Vietnam after the war, millions dead. 3. War in Afghanistan (2001-2021) → Instability and Taliban takeover after U.S. troop withdrawal. 4. Iraq War (2003-2011) → Power vacuum, rise of ISIS, ongoing instability in Iraq. 5. Libya (2011, NATO intervention) → Gaddafi's overthrow led to civil war and power struggles, the country remains divided. 6. Syrian Conflict (since 2011, unofficial involvement) → Support for various rebel and opposition groups, ongoing civil war. 7. Chile (1973, coup) → Support for the military coup against Allende, led to years of military dictatorship. 8. Guatemala (1954, coup) → Overthrow of the government, decades of civil war and repression. 9. Nicaragua (1980s, Contra war) → Support for the Contra rebels, led to instability and a devastated economy. 10. El Salvador (1980s, civil war) → Support for government forces, led to widespread death and destruction, long-term instability.

I 100% support Ukraine so you may be surprised to hear I also am a Trump supporter, from the Bay Area. There are a lot more Trump supporters that support Ukraine than you may think. Truly sadness and frustration envelopes me daily. I am broken by what is happening. My opinion may be very different from others and it is not meant to be disrespectful. I feel our government has not done enough to help Ukraine. $ and weapons are one thing but I think they need to put the boot to Putins neck and stop putting some limitations on the military. I also think they should have let Ukraine join NATO a long time ago. I don't know what is going to happen but I don't believe Trump will abandon Ukraine. He spoke very solemnly about it last night. Regardless, at this point in time I don't think alienating him or his supporters is good for anyone.If he does win, Ukraine will still need him and we don't want to diminish that support. I appreciate the fact that you don't really do that. I agree with what you said about the oppositional response people have these days. we need to not make that the norm. So this former Trump voter is now voting Harris to keep us out of WWIII and nip Putin's plans to dominate Europe.
@roshant696412 күн бұрын
I am a resident of Ukraine and I think your approaching this wrong. In truth the western alliance does not have to get involved in Ukraine due to some need or some resources in Ukraine, such resources exist elsewhere too. They have to be involved because in 1994 they made a promise to Ukraine in return for abandoning nukes , they have to be involved because they made a promise to Ukraine in 2008 ,they did not have to make that promise they chose to make that promise of NATO membership ,they have to be involved becuase in 2013-2014 they promised Ukraine EU association and free trade. So in teh end the westerner alliance made prmoses that they chose to make and hence they have to be involved infact they should be deploying NATO troops into Ukraine.

If Canada and Mexico were being militarized near our borders, you better believe we would be ready and possibly forced to react. It was a divorce, a decree, a deception, a circus, this document, the Budapest Memorandum was not worth the ink and paper that were spent on this document. Ukraine was simply divorced like a fool, and Ukraine itself behaved like a fool, we had money for the maintenance of nuclear weapons, it's just that this money was in the pockets of the oligarchs, not the state. The problem is that not only Russia spits on obligations (she has always spat on any agreements) But the countries of the First World, the World Leaders, behave as well, and trust them, it’s like pissing without taking off their underwear. And Ukraine simply signed up to the fact that we will be divided by empires when the Budapest Memorandum was signed.

In other words, they have to purchase them from the war profiteering oligarchs who run the US military industrial complex. Johnny can try to use every possible excuse to rationalize and quantify/qualify why he, as a noncitizen of Ukraine, wants to continue supporting the Ukrainian side’s hostilities in the war against Russia. There are no two ways about it. If a person does not show their full support in the form of calling for a stop to hostilities by both sides and instead, fully support peace negotiations, they are by definition a war monger for the side they support. I think those donated vehicles are not really made for bullets. One bullet can destroy radiator and overheat. I think it should be a thick plate with small holes before the radiator. I would say holes should be smaller then 5.56 Nato. Then it could stop the bullet. Other side is oil change and oil check. That can make the car to run longer if oil is changed. So if someone is donating vehicles, consider donating oil too.

Johnny, the problem with supporting Ukraine “as long as it takes” is that it would take far more weapons and money than is available at this point in the war. The west has already supplied more than it can afford while still having enough to defend themselves - especially the US which needs to defend Asia, all the European countries that depend on it, the Middle East, etc.. It is a misunderstanding when people say that the US could easily give enough weapons to defeat Russia if it wanted to. Sure, it could go all in and fight Russia head to head in a direct war, and maybe it would win, though it’s not guaranteed considering how poorly US weapons have performed in Ukraine and the Middle East since 2001. The west overestimates is own strength and underestimates Russia. This is why the war is still going on, because the west thought it would easily defeat Russia with sanctions and weapons - just as Russia thought it would easily defeat Ukraine. There has been a miscalculation on both sides. On top of that, Ukraine has taken massive losses that it cannot recover from. The only way to defeat Russia at this point would be with a mass mobilization of every male over the age of 17, and all of those men would need to be highly trained, equipped and motivated. It’s just not going to happen. The longer the west and Ukraine pretends that it can defeat Russia, the longer this war will continue and the worse off Ukraine and the west will be. What if the west actually does give all its weapons, Ukraine does mobilize, and everything that they need on paper is met, but Russia is STILL not defeated? This would be the end of Ukraine and western power. This is why the war needs to end in negotiation sooner rather than later. It’s only going to get worse for Ukraine. There is no victory, I’m sorry Johnny and all other Ukraine supporters. You’re well intentioned, but misguided and it’s costing Ukraine dearly.

You have to be the president to negotiate the end to a war AND TO START ONE. I'll copy this comment and continue to paste it so that a lot of people will see it today and I'm glad I pushed it to the top by pasting it over and over. 😂 it's OK to have your own opinion but when you refuse to let other people hear two sides this is more than an opinion. This is a control issue. By the way, I just figured this out. If you leave the edit box open in your comment, he can't delete it.😂😂😂 . As I mentioned in a comment above (which I'll restate here because this one seems to be getting a lot of attention) there is an agenda to all of these world wars and there's a reason they progressed when they progressed. You claim to love Ukraine, but Ukraine is a pawn for the United States and other countries who run things (especially right now) for the one world agenda. When I think enough people have seen my comment I'll close the edit box. If a one world agenda (With america gvt on top of course not the people) is that important to you that you would watch all of your people die for it and then in the end become more of a slave than you already are, well that's about as dumb as this comment.
