Its not surprising how she’s still a prio ban/pick. If you gave such a hero an ult that can copy the hundreds of different heroes ultimates, you gave them the highest flexibility that you can stretch them for eons. An ultimate like hers is how she’s still broken even under all the nerfs, and a good multi-role user playing her would be devastation.

Just a reminder, Valentina’s ability to copy ult is just a tip on an ice berg when it comes to her kit. Her sustain, high magic scaling, high outplay potential, high mobility makes her op. You can’t just counter her by picking a hero with useless ult when she uses it.

Bro, Valentina still can get countered. Just use Kagura instead of another heroes with strong ultimates. Eudora, Valir and Harith also are a good counter against Valentina. The funny thing is that if you build necklance of durance and athena shield on a burst mage like Eudora, Kagura or Valir, Valentina will die easier. Trust me, I tried it tons of times and none of them I failed

I dunno beto but we have tank clear the mid wave right around 1:40 of game timer and mid will go to exp at that very moment so that the exp , mid and tank will be lvl 4 before turtle spawn we use it as an advantage for turtle fight, try doing it with your squad

Back when they first released Valentina... Her second skill targets only enemy players and deals a lot of damage. The 1-2-1-2 combo paired with CD reduce items is so deadly.

With full glass cannon build, she can one hit an enemy with 3-2-1 combo, but cannot with 1-2-3 combo (except when equipped with flameshot). I build her like this and use 3-2-1 combo since the slash from her knight is a great help in cutting some of the enemy's hp and I use sprint as my bs for her. With 1-2-3 combo, the enemy can still avoid the slash from the knight therefore, escaping. But with flameshot, you can burst them down. However, cd reduction build is also very good to always help ur teammates and poke enemies and Vexana is one hell of a menace during teamfights. In addition, you can also take advantage of her passive when poking enemies. Try to hit enemies near low hp minions and boom! They'll either go home or get killed.

Fun fact: lesley can crit with goldenstaff but your crit should only come from her passive which change your penetration into crit, normal crit items wont work unless it the penet passive of lesley

Everytime I see Valentina I always suggest my teammates to pick counter heroes, and not only for her. Such heroes like Valir and Kagura will give Valentina a hard time to farm and just basically destroy her OP copying ultimate. Valir has better range ability like Kagura too, although Valir can be more annoying than Kagura because his early game damage may actually overwhelm Valentina if played correctly. Also any one shot assassin or tricky/sustain fighter is good against her, such heroes like Saber, Hayabusa, Harley, Paquito,Masha. And again, picking heroes with great ultimates + passive power will destroy Valentina since she can't copy passives (Paquito and Saber are smiling on a corner)

I'm a Valentina main and I rarely Change my Battle spell because Flicker is a game changer depends on the enemy, it gives you a chase or run spell and gives you a Guaranteed Set if u have flicker like atlast khufra mino or other heroes that needed flicker As a multi role player its a good main hero for me You could've done Ruby's Ult flicker for your team since u need a team CC One way to counter a Valentina is to pick a Burt hero to deal with her of course u need a tank to help u cc her to burts her easier

She's gonna get a nerf in the next patch I guess. When you copy heros like Wanwan or Minotaur ultis you need to mark/charge first like them, and will no longer be able to use the ult immediately.

Valentina is actually in the works of getting nerfed, Elgin made a vid about recent adjustments in the advanced server. I don't remember it too well but one of her skills' damage is being reduced and her ult won't instantly activate both wanwans and minos ults.

When Valentina was first released, she really was too OP. Played 2 matches (classic) using her and got a savage. If thats not OP, I don't know what is. Now, moontoon tune her down a bit but after having her core item, she still prove to be very formidable. BTW, betosky should copy carmila ult instead in this game. Damage output will be insane
