Yeah the park has said the log flume isn't finished, they just wanted to get it open for the summer which makes sense. Just a pity the tunnel on the egg coaster isn't dark anymore. Good to see cannonball back open but desperate for the second train. haha i remember the dodgems last time you visited.. they had to push you around.. i don't know what these are so rubbish.

Vivid memories of this park visited each year from 1986 till 2006! Seen massive changes, woody and Clarence the cat, to noel edmonds and mr blooby at the park in Castle show building in 1994! Sea lion show, i rember waiting easly 3 hours for cannonball when it opened, and rattle snake, (snake in the grass), still have my woody teddy from 1992 and loads of photos etc from times gone bye,! Great park and glad to see it still in business 👍

This is my local theme park, I’ve been coming here since I was 3 years old so 21 years I’ve been coming here it has changed so much over the years, but I really think that they should put in more thrill rides in, something like a launch coaster, wipeout seems a bit boring now that I’ve been on it more than 50 times, I know it’s a family theme park but we need more for fellow thrill seekers like me 😊

While you have been traveling the UK, me and my friend did our French coaster Mega trip. This day, day 12 and also our last day of the trip, two more parks were on our schedule before we returned home. It was the first park to become Family Park, a park that was new, but not completely. While or second was the lovabale Papéa Parc. So this time I will ell you my experiences in those parks, so if you will visit them one day, you'll know what to expect: Family Park is an amusement park that opened this year, but has been around for longer. The park became too large for their previous location, which is why it was decided to buy up Parc de la Récréation and to move in with some of the existing attractions. We could immediately notice that the park was semi-new, as the entrance did not seem to be completely finished yet. Furthermore, the park consisted of attractions that were connected by a pebble path. This was a bit of a downside for us, it doesn't look very cozy. We immediately decided to hike towards one of the attractions, the Big Apple/Wacky Worm roller coaster, Family Coaster. Roller coaster two was the park's novelty. This new roller coaster was named 'Gold Rush' and caused a lot of problems when an employee was hit by a cart and died. By the way, Gold Rush wasn't completely new at all. The roller coaster started its life in 1983 as Vierer Bob in Traumlandpark, which is now known as Movie Park Germany. She later moved to Trentham, England, as 4 Man Bob. From 1985 to 1990, the roller coaster under the same name was allowed to spin in Alton Towers, before moving to Pleasure Island Family Theme Park where she was present from 1993 to 1995. From 1998 to 2001, the track was again in Fantasy Island as Flying Trapeze. Afterwards she performed as Thunderbolt in Grove Land from 2002 to 2003. In 2007 the roller coaster ended up in the now closed Loudoun Castle, where it was in storage until 2010 and in that year could ride for a year. For the next nine years, the roller coaster continued to languish in this latter park before moving to the French Family Park. Gold rush's track was allowed to open again and we could take our ride. The roller coaster in itself was quite fun, but due to a sensor malfunction, we hit the end brakes with a bang, which was not so pleasant. After a fun day at Family Park, we have arrived at the last park of our trip, Papéa Parc. It was immediately noticeable how cozy this park was, a worthy end to our trip. We decided to take a seat in Chenille first, yes, another Big Apple. Our next stop was 'Roller Coaster'. This roller coaster was built by Zierer and is of the Tivoli Large type. The train got a nice locomotive at the front and the coaster ran its laps quite smoothly. And so we arrived at the last credit of our trip, Train de la Mine. We started our trip a few days ago with a Soquet roller coaster and now we also ended it with a Soquet roller coaster. At least we finished scoring credits on this fun family roller coaster. Because in the middle of the park, the Le Cyclone attraction towered above everything. This attraction built by Technical Park is of the type Typhoon 360. You can call it a frisbee that goes completely over. A pretty tough experience, but for us an extra moment of overtaking would have been just a little better, well we are spoiled. We ended our visit to this very charming park and our trip with a ride on l'Apache, a Disk'O from Zamperla. So what do I think about our trip? This trip was very speciel and we got to see new credits and explore france a bit. My friend did wonderfully with planning our parks and hotels and I really do wish that you, shawn, might be able to do a trip like that one day, as it will really add to your channel. Thanks for reading my trip tho and hope for you the best.

Nice to see La via volta's train again after they took it from Walibi Holland's boomerang. Due to mismanagement of CDA and the Walibi parks in Holland and Belgium that took until 2010, the park didn't boomerang for years by giving it to Pleasurewood hills. I even believe that this park isn't from CDA anymore, but Looping group.
