Water mixable oil landscape painting en plein air (distant trees)

In this video I paint a landscape en plein air using my Butterfly easel. (See my website www.diyeasel.com for more info on this).
Vicent van Gogh said: "I devour nature ceaselessly. I exaggerate, sometimes I make changes to the subject; but I still don't invent the whole picture. On the contrary, I find it already there. It's a question of picking out what one wants from nature".
So that's what I tried to do here with the scene in front of me.

While i like to see the brush working, i quite enjoyed the short format and focus of getting to watch the painting get its bones etc. Different but also good.

Yes it would, but the video tripod broke when I was out there and there was no way I could do it for this video. Check out my channel for other videos where I do paint (!) and I'll make sure this doesn't happen again. I still thought it was worth publishing on youtube and on my blog even without the actual painting.
