James was one of the people who inspired me to fall down the urban sketchers rabbit hole on the internet, during the pandemic! I saw myself as an rural sketcher wannabe in an urban sketcher's world... and led to me becoming a plein air painter! Great interview! Thank you!

I just finished watching "Painting Animals from Life" James Gurney DVD from the library. He uses gouache, pen & ink,some casein, some watercolor and watercolor pencils.
