I had a single fin fish in the 70s, I seen a guy at point (P.B.) ride one of these a long time ago when I lived there . Really cool . .

I rode Lis fishes during the 70s, and at one point needed a new board and couldn't get one from the Green Room, so I had Skip Frye shape a fish along similar lines. It was a good board, but not in the same class as Stevie's stuff. A Lis fish has an ability to turn square off the bottom and then project speed down the line that you have to experience to believe. They need a steep wave to do their best, but that's true for kneeboarding in general.

Another unique shaper from the late 70's when I was living in Sunset Cliffs was John Belik

This has gotta be the worst surf film I’ve ever seen. Just abstract clips of nothing. Not a single watchable wave
