Homemade.... I'd say yes... Handmade.... Only in part ;) still a cool project though! Could be done by hand only as well but with much more effort.

Very nice job. Can I ask how thick is the bamboo circle and the plastic ? I wanna do kind of the same but can't really decide what combo would look better. Also can I ask the diameter of these circles please ? Thank you

it needs an Arduino Nano in the base so you could bootload different sketches or write your own for custom patterns, colors, etc.

Very cool project, may i ask if you have a turning lathe already, did you tried to just put it on a turning lathe and just turn it round ? Because the use of cnc seems a bit overkill to me for a rotational body. But i still love the result :). Or did you you just decided to use CNC because its handy ? I ask because i am curious if it would be possible on a lathe or if the surface would suffer and maybe the acrylic melt.
@PaweWWnukuLaboratory4 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I think its good idea to use lathe 🙂

Love it but for all the effort better to go with a higher quality led. Perhaps the color changing light strips with the remote. Great product. Any luck in the market?

Couple hole saws/jigsaw and a belt sander could make quick work of this project. Aluminum base is really cool but you could construct something else to hide the electrical that wouldn’t require a CNC.
