I was looking for prog bands with female singer lately. This is a brilliant find! I found Rolo Tomassi but they're a bit too heavy for me, too many screams and all. But this is like perfect cause I love Haken and Plini! Thanks for sharing this!

Of course!! I agree, I can't do very many screams - these guys are so technically gifted, another group with gorgeous female vocals I've gotten into recently is Exploring Birdsong (I reacted to their new single but lost the footage 😭), they're much more controlled but they have such a distinct sound - try the song Pyre!!

Maybe Plini inspired them, but I believe some of these sounds you hear (when you stopped the video) are in turn inspired by Allan Holdsworth on his Metal fatigue album from 1985: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZC3qXx4f5yHZq8

This is the first time I've heard someone mention Holdsworth on the channel!! I'm well aware of Metal Fatigue and that's a super good point!! For me he's the greatest guitarist of all time, no question 🙌 him and Virgil Donati are the holy duo
