Another beautiful piece by Plini! What'd you think of this one?

Though many high level musicians whom ill never even compare to say this is plini's best work so far, i find plini's previous work to be better and and more compelling. To me most of the songs in the album had no specific theme or motiff to come back to and call "home". It almost seemed like "hey let's just connect this melody to this melody and call it a song." It was a great album, don't get me wrong, but the storytelling aspect which is characteristic of plini was massively dumbed down

@@chadmarx7718 I do appreciate this album more than the previous one but I agree with your general point. We were spoiled with Plini's Trilogy man, those motifs are stuck in my brain until I die. These 2 albums have some amazing and pretty songs, some of his best songs too but they don't have that concept feel or overlapping motifs like the trilogy eps have. This song is super lovely and warm though and the intro guitar is so playful.

Love it. Pan is the next one off this you should check out. Also listen to Leprous’s Castaway Angels for some killer vocals.

Well with the guitar thing you were talking about hes usually using call and response it works really good when you end one phrase on the 2 4 or 6 so you can answer the end of the nest phrase on a chord tone the root the 3 or the 5th so it gets resolved really good that's a very simplified explanation

Ahh very cool. I'll have to try to practice this method out in my playing.

You gotta try The Glass Bead Game. I know, it sounds kinda sexual....and it is 😁
