I had the rare pleasure of seeing Plini and his band live in Taipei, Taiwan last night. I'd never heard him before, and don't consider myself a "prog-metal" guy. But I love me some guitar virtuosos, from Paco De Lucia to Jeff Beck to Joe Satriani. Plini blew me away. They were awesome, and had a great rapport with the rapt audience, getting all of us to do a "sing along" with his solos.

Each Plini release is just as satisfying as the previous one. I think Plini is one of those artists that you could keep on repeat & seldom be bored. You're exaggerating to the point of delusion. This track is one of the laziest he's done. It is the same riff repeated over and over again with different variations, the mix of the clean guitars is awful and Chris Allison's drum are far from groovy and dynamic.

im a doctor and i agree with your analysis, however it should also be noted that knit sweaters can shrink in size due to room temperatur. judging by the curtains in the back i would say its about -12.5 degrees celcius, and therefore his sweater must be 5mm thicc. meaning his frame will have at least 102 cm in circumferance. plini is great!
