I can never get my shadow to look like that. Obviously cause I'm not a professional. But the crease and other colors always blend together too much. And the inner part of my eyelid doesn't stay light enough. I'll try with this video and see if it helps at all.

Try an eye primer! It will make the colors stand out more and last longer :)

I do actually! I think maybe I just don't have very good eyeshadows or brushes.

Alex Kilgore It might be several things. Either your primer is just shitty or eyeshadows or I've even heard that using dirty brushes can be a factor as well. I clean my brushes about once a week or two weeks and I always notice a big difference after I clean them. They are much better at applying the makeup and the makeup itself looks better.

I use the bare minerals primer and I'll use either bare minerals, maybelline, or ULTA eyeshadows usually. And I think I just use random sephora brushes. I probably don't clean them as often as I should

Hmm interesting. I wonder what's going wrong then..Well idk you should try cleaning your brushes really well and using them once they're dry and see if you can see the difference. I definitely did with mine but you never know until you try.. I always clean my brushes in the evening so that they have the night to dry and they're ready to use in the morning. I hope it all works out for you :)
