I really like the conversation but I would also want to understand when Jirongo saw the light? Anyone who is old enough to remember Kanu days will recall the dealings of Cyrus Jirongo, Sam Nyamweya, one William arap Ruto etc as Kanu's Y92 wing that almost brought Kenya's economy to its knees in the effort to rig Moi in. Money was printed in hundreds of millions to splash in the city estates and the countryside to buy support for Moi and the denomination that most common was the 200/- note such that it was nicknamed Jirongo, a name the note carried up until when the old money was phased out 3 years ago. Is Jirongo then qualified to talk about clean leadership or how does he plan to sanitize himself?
