As much as it pains me that people I like don't get on with one of my favourite rides in the world, I think we can all understand a spinning coaster that intense is never going to be well suited for everyone. Everyone's entitled to their opinion and comfort is a big part of that, as much as I love FLY's theming I don't rate it that high because I don't get on with the restraints, yet most other people think they're fine. You all at PBE are good at making fair assessments in vlogs and not loading your reviews of coasters or parks with subjective opinions. Much respect for that
@yourexperienceguide2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Sam, can completely see where you’re coming from with F.L.Y as well to be honest. The theming and ambience of Rookburgh is better than the coaster.

The Ride to Happiness was my 100th cred and it's still my favourite ride in the world bar none. For me it rides like a luxury sedan, it never nauseated me and the elements and the spinning complement eacht other perfectly. I'm glad you gave it a fair shake, and it's good to know we're not all the same. I heard Holiday Park is considering building a Ride to Happiness clone and I'm categorically against that. It would cheapen the original. Besides, something like a Heidi clone, like what they built in Poland, makes much more sense for that park.
@yourexperienceguide2 жыл бұрын
I agree about Holiday Park, I don’t mind them recreating the theme but I hope they do something with the coaster.
@gemmachaos2 жыл бұрын
@@yourexperienceguide The theme is the last thing I expect them to recreate. Especially since Tomorrowland is such a specifically Belgian thing. Remember how Heidi the ride is themed to a cute children's cartoon while the Polish mirrored clone has a horror theme?

Sorry to comment on an old blog, been looking through your back catalogue 😂. I adore ride to happiness, my number one, but my wife hates it. I agree and disagree with all your comments. It personal preference, im sure you like big one more than i do, wouldnt it be boring if we all liked the same thing. (I do preferr hyperia to big one, but im sure your the other way round too) happy riding. Also you seem to be objectively less negative in your new vlogs, love it. Good video as always. I really enjoyed RTH, but I like spinning coasters. However, for me, it’s not the best coaster in Europe (I know you guys didn’t say this but some people on Twitter said it was best in world/Europe) because I don’t find it as re-rideable as the RMCs or Hyperion. The restraints are not great and the ride beats you up a bit. Heidi was enjoyable but it’s a fairly weak GCI compared to others I’ve ridden. I like the out and back layout but it just doesn’t do enough for me - it’s a kids woodie afterall. Hoping Ghostrider at Knotts is good in 2 weeks time - not GCI but retracked by them. I found plopsa a bit twee to be honest. Without RTH, I ‘d probably not bother going there.

You should have mentioned the food prices Scott. Rip off springs to mind €16 for a pizza slice and a drink and €5 for a bottle of water shocking.

They are outrageously expensive, for me and Becca to eat at Pizza Hut it was €30, and €5 for a drink every time. They’re a very different park to how they were in 2018 sadly.

Everyones allowed to have different opinions on coasters - i know i rank kiddy/less thrilling coasters higher if they give a good experience which rubs the wrong way with certain people if they rank by intensity if that's what they value. Especially if there's physical stuff happening to cause discomfort that's completely understandable for your reasoning. I really hope to get to Plopsaland someday to have a go at RTH, I really enjoyed enso so i feel this ride will either make me queasy or i will really enjoy it

I really wanted to like RTH this time, and in all honesty I preferred it to July but it’s just so uncomfortable at times.
@timheye78632 жыл бұрын
RTH is not a boring coaster, every ride is different and thrill seekers ...well.... they seek things like this. And to me, it's my nr one ride because of the theming, airtime, special inversions, onride audio that goes perfect in line with every element. What's not to like about this beauty? Too much sensation? After doing 293 coasters in my life, RTH blew me away and keeps getting better and better with every ride. Last time I did it 15 times, and still blew me away with every ride. That is what a good coaster should do. These reactions are.... well...to me at least... a bit strange.
@yourexperienceguide2 жыл бұрын
I don't think any of us called it boring, did we? Timestamp in your reply with anywhere that we said it was boring please. I've done just short of 500 coasters, Mark has done over 500, Becca has nearly 300 ticked off, we're entitled to our opinions and we all explained why we felt how we did about it.
@timheye78632 жыл бұрын
@@yourexperienceguide Of course you do and I respect that. But I can also tell you my opinion about yours, can't I? Even Shawn Sanbrooke of themepark worldwide said: "One of the best roller coasters in Europe, if not the world right there" "It's the complete package, theming, hangtime, airtime, launches, onboard audio, no boring moments". And somehow you all agree that it's not good. That is what seems so strange to me. If only one of you said: it hurts me, didn't like it. But all of is really strange to go against the popular opinion of the croud. Of course, you did many coasters, just like me. But I also know what many coaster experiences can do: it makes us all the 'experts'. And I love unpopular opinions. I for example am not a fan of Kondaa in Walibi Belgium because I expected more thrill from it. But that was just it. I wanted more thrill, what RTH gave me. But for an entire group to all say: Don't like it.... well, at least as a RTH fan I can say: Strange...No need to be angry for that.
