This theme park is awesome with all the different colourful theming, facades, its definitely has a lot of characteristics that makes this park particularly boasts more adventurous fun for the entire family thrillseekers alike, Charlotte looks like she's really embracing these fast intense fun Rollercoasters as her confidence is gradually increasing going on them braving herself riding the water rides as well bless her. As a Dutchie, I grew up with many of the oldest Studio 100 shows (Samson & Gert, Kabouter Plop, Wizzy & Woppy, Piet Piraat, Big & Betsy) and I've been to Plopsaland once back in 2002, when I was 9. The park had only just opened and was much smaller. I just cried watching the Plop darkride because nostalgia basically attacked me with all the sound effects, voices, and music. Plop and his friends have such a special place in my heart. It's also nice to see how much the park has grown. You can really tell Gert Verhulst was inspired by the Efteling (where a few old Samson & Gert videoclips were recorded before Plopsaland opened).

Plopsaland is a special park for most Dutch and Belgium visitors. I remember going there as a kid with just a limited amount of kids rides, nothing thrilling at all. It was all about the characters. The park, comparable to Disneyland, is based on very popular characters and movies from Studio100, which most 90s kids grew up to. I have not thought about this park in years and looking at this transformation is simply insane. It is certainly a children’s park no more and I have to get back there soon. Thanks for reminding me, Shawn & Charlotte!

Its as close to perfection as I have experienced a coaster yet. Just beatiful. Just the edge of the bar is quite intense on hip sometime. But nothing to complain about. The jojo roll hast just the perfect speed. Not to slow nor fast.

The big difference used to be that Croky has sugar in it and Walkers (well, Lay's / Smiths here) didn't. Meanwhile Lay's does have some sugar in it, but still not as much as Croky. But they've got Croky, since it's Belgian. Of course.

that element right after the second launch on ride to happiness its like you are beeing shot into space and are floating around weightless for a second so crazy, when it comes to places like plopsa and toverland for example, they grow up allong with their initial audience it was created for, so that once theyre grown up they will take their future kids back as well :). its a pretty interesting circle to witness.

My 1st visit to Plopsaland De Panne was back in 2005 when I did a coaster tour of Holland & Belgium & had a week at a Dutch Centre Parcs. This park feels like a "grown up Chessington". I do day trips as its nearer to me than Alton Towers, catch the 8.30am Shuttle then the short drive to the park, leave the park at 4pm and be home by 6pm. ;-)

That reaction to the Tomorrowland coaster was brilliant. I've just googled directions to this park from where I live in Essex and it's around 140 miles if I drive and estimated at 3 hours. Not sure if you know this (probably do) but this park is regarded as basically our Disneyland. The company Studio 100 is widely regarded as our very own Walt Disney with a variety of popular children TV shows, movies and musicals. It's a blast when you know the characters.

Finally, this is the Vlog I've been waiting for since this coaster opened in July! I rode it 4 times at the end of August (I combined it with a weekend trip to the beach in De Panne) and RTH really is an insanely good experience. Nevertheless, nobody can convey the pure joy of coasters - and theme parks in general - as well as you guys and this reaction certainly took the cake. If only the Mack family would build something like this in their own Park! They've definitely delivered the proof that Mack Rides can construct exciting Thrill rides. I'm really looking forward to the continuation of this years European road trip now!

I would realy recommend the waterpark, it's called Plopsaqua. The theming is pretty darn close to Rulantica (yeah i said it). In terms of slides it has a trapdoor slide, interactive body slide, oval rafting slide, rapids with split in the middle, multislide, kids body slide. It also has a well themed wave pool with simulated storms and rain.

Anubis is such a bucket list Coaster for me I can't lie. It's themed to a childrens/teen drama that used to be on Nickelodeon called House of Anubis which was very cheesy but I used to love it when I was younger. I went here yesterday as part of a road trip to Amsterdam and Brussels and was amazed at the quality of theming throughout this park, however the operations on the Ride To Happiness were poor as it was a Saturday during school summer holidays and only 1 train was operating. Combined with the few minutes of unloading, loading, and checking before dispatch it meant that queue moved up by less than 16 people every 5 minutes or so. Such a shame as the rest of the off and on ride experience is world class! I hope to ride it again on a quieter day.

Nice story about the sleeping giant: it is an original piece of theming from the Meli before Studio100 bought the park and putted in the theming around their characters from their tv-shows/films. After more than twenty years, they cleaned up the statue and placed it beside the little house full of old stuff from the Meli park to pay extra tribute to the original park.

If you think that was the most intense Mack coaster, you HAVE to get yourselves on DC Rivals Hypercoaster! I’ve been on Red Force, Shambhala, Sheikra and Mako… but the first drop on that Mack Hyper is INSANE!! Out of your seats the entire way down guaranteed!

bos van plop means plop's forest. gnome Plop is another studio 100 show. Plop and Samson & Gert (show about a man and his talking dog) are the show-names that make up the Plopsa name.
