Darren, as most people would say, you have been dealt a cruel hand, but you have certainly done the 2 best things about it? And that is, first, to get your symptoms that you were /are having CHECKED!!! So that is a major plus, and second, your positive attitude. It is so easy to become very negative when anything to do with a diagnosis of this nature strikes, so your attitude you are showing is another major plus!!!!!! I can fully understand what you are going through? I am myself, a triple cancer survivor!!!! I got it first when i was only 15 years old, and then it returned twice further down the line. I can say that if it was not for the NHS, I WOULD NOT BE HERE TODAY, and i am now in my sixties!!!!! i cannot speak highly enough of the NHS, they deserve the highest praise above all else!!!!! You are in good hands. Finally, i would just like to wish you a full and speedy recovery Sir, and stay positive, and we all hope and pray to see you very soon with more of your videos!!!! Blessings!

Simple, honest videos like this are such an important reminder to get your checks. KZbin is it's own not very realistic world sometimes where one can forget stuff like this happens. For some percentage of people who live in that world all the time a video like this can be the difference in getting treatment in time. All the best with the treatment Darren.

you are right about NHS staff, they are amazing! Just been through Whipple's procedure and they got me through it, along with the other patients on the ward. Stay positive - and your Cubase book is great (if not a little bit heavy!)

OMG Darren! I was deeply saddened to hear about your health issues. You are such a humble guy and the kindness within you always shines abundantly. Keep holding onto hope. I just finished 3 months of chemotherapy. I had surgery for colon cancer in May. It’s no picnic and certainly a difficult period with chemotherapy. Now it's over, and I’m happy we live in a time where medical technology can do so much. I have always held onto hope, and I’m reaping the benefits of that. Stay strong, and hopefully, you can quickly pick up your passion again.

Dude, super shitty news.. Check your stress, it's the tollerable stuff that gets you, don't sweep anything under the mat, or take on the stress of others. Do what truly makes you happy. Do all the things you've been putting off cos you've been too busy with life. Focus on putting the biggest smile on your face as much as possible.. I lost my Dad quite a few years ago now, also to cancer, I gave him the same advice and a week before he died he told me he wished he'd taken it..
