Fun fact: the Serious Table Flip move Saitama did in this chapter was also done in the original webcomic by One. However, it was done on Earth and small scale. The plot was pretty simple in the original. I really appreciate the level of insanity they’re doing here.

What I want to note is how Saitama goes "Even I can do something like that", implying that he doesn't see himself (and the ability to attack in every single direction simultaneously) as all that impressive. It really juxtaposes Saitama's worldview for the first time in our eyes because to him, he's not a real hero. Unlike all of the fallen, beaten, unconscious heroes who stood in the way of the Monster Association at risk of their lives, he's just some guy with no instinct. This is one of the few moments where we're properly capable of exploring just how Saitama thinks beyond his overwhelming apathy. He doesn't see himself as that impressive, because even with all of his strength he still wasn't able to save someone he cherishes because he's always too late.

This is possibly a very important detail as it relates back to Chapter 132 Pages 16-17 or somewhere around there. According to the translation I've read, Psykos says "It [God] even resembled the surface of Jupiter". She then goes on saying how the mysterious entity looked into her and felt a flow of energy and a sense of enlightenment all at the same time.

4:20 It is, if following physic, more likely, that the punch delivered a shockwave of power extensive to the level of photons, pushing and maybe erasing all light in the path of the punch. The light travelling from those stars and likely galaxies actually, are extinguished here. If and when that blast reach the stars, the too will likely be annihilated. To visualize it, think of light as a stream of water toward you and Saitama just punched that stream away, leaving nothing but darkness.

You are almost correct. The energy released in the blast, created interference with the light from the stars. If there is enough energy in the shock wave when it arrives at the stars, then the shock wave would exert pressure onto the star. Depending on the star, it would either lose size from mater being blown away or explode from mater being blown away. Annihilation, in physics is usually reserved for cancelation/removal of energy/matter. This process releases energy as well, so we would be able to observe that. Most likely, this would cause a giant bright spot not a black spot.

I honestly hope that he did NOT destroy all those stars, because that would not only make HIM very powerful, but also Garou. Additionally, that means Blast with his team could REDIRECT THIS MUCH POWER without much effort. So either 1) Blast is not a lot weaker than Saitama (which is weird) + Garou could tank this punch/Saitama was trying to kill him, or 2) this blow didn't punch a hole through the galaxy, and instead did something with the light coming from this direction. Or warped the fabric of spacetime. Or something idk I personally very much prefer the second option. (also Bootes void does not look like this, because it's, you know, shapeless, and not a fucking cone of nothing stretching from our own galaxy) (and WHAT? How is the hole "the size of 2000 galaxies", and at the same time only "several star systems" are destroyed?)

My pet theory is that Saitama can do anything he thinks he can do. Anything at all, whether it makes any sense or not. If he thinks he can hold his breath in a vacuum _after_ being punched to the moon by Boros (that wouldn't actually work in reality), then he can. If he thinks he can grab and move portals or kick them away (which has nothing to do with strength and is just Toonforce-level reality warping), he can. If he thinks he can inexplicably emerge from within a portal his opponent just created, he can. If I'm right, then the only thing really holding him back from total omnipotence (at least so far) is his own belief that he has limits.

A power level of 1.44e+50 is bound to destroy entire galaxies and create a huge hole in the universe, just saying.

If that were the case you would notice our galaxy being destroyed before other galaxies do and keep in mind we are surrounded by our own galaxy (not at the center) but in there. And this is not related to the bootes void as it is of intergalactical size whereas the void in the manga panel was only of interstellar size. there are scientific reasoning for why its there, we have not the full reasoning but there is 100% some sort of astronomical process which will be explained through breakthroughs in physics (most likely dark matter).

@@jordantran6879 we are at nearly the edge of a tail of our galaxy. Also Dark Mass is a name given to a phenomenon which causes an inflation of mass creating a higher gravitational pull on star systems within galaxies, it has never been actually observed as of the time of me commenting this. But in order to create a change in the night sky going only as far as stars in our galaxy the punch would have needed to create gravitational waves that move faster than light (which is possible considering space itself is expanding and accelerating faster than light) so at the very least the waves in space is creating a lensing that blocks out the light coming from that voided space where the force of the two punches went. And at most it pushed all astronomical matter in that area away from our view out to the edge of the observable universe. Meaning entire galaxies and galaxy clusters. Though you are correct in that our home galaxy would be completely FUCKED by that amount of force. Probably scattering the Milky Way into pieces in the process

Idea of mine as to why the stars show no light: the type of blast sent towards them eliminated the photons of light currently travelling from the stars. Ie the nearby travelling star-light was destroyed en route to Earth. Ofc this is fiction but a fun way to explain it imo
