Although...what if it was a lot darker than this? Now I really hope this ludicrous theory won't come to fruition...but what if Mama Midoriya _wanted_ them to take away whatever quirk he would get? Now hear me out before you tear me apart!! Inko is always very much upset every time Izuku is in danger, and what if in order to try to get him away from the center of danger she had them remove his quirk? Obviously that monster of a doctor could just swap out the x-ray for a quirkless x-ray, and since Izuku would be young he would believe everything while the doctor and his mother lie to him. And Inko began apologizing when he asked her if he could still be a hero, so it could've very well been a "I'm sorry Izuku but I had to do it, I couldn't bear to let you get in harms way" type of thing where she was apologizing for taking away the chance for his dream (I hate that I'm even considering this possibility, both Midoriya's are just cinnamon rolls, but the more analytical and skeptical side of me is going ballistic after watching videos like how Aoyama was likely _trying_ to fail the Provisional Licensing Exam, which was why he hid away and tried to sacrifice himself...he even _did_ look genuinely pissed when 1-A came to save him!). Later on when she had gotten upset with All Might when the dorms were being implemented, it could've very well been a "I worked too hard to try to keep him away from danger" kind of thing. I know people will get mad at me for even suggesting such a thing, but it really _could_ be possible, just like all the AFO is Izuku's Dad theories, it could be possible since there is not exactly any proof saying it's _not_ true (Not gonna lie I just got this in my mind. Fans: Is AFO Izuku's father?! Yes or no?! Horikoshi: *Perhaps* meme). And I genuinely mean it when I say I hate that I even found this rabbit hole in the first place, because Mama Midoriya is just so pure that it would break my heart if this idea comes true. ...why do I always make the super long comments? I really got to stop doing that, but once the cracks appear the dam doesn't just break, it phases out of existence itself.

Also having the doctor set up shop at a hospital where kids are tested for their Quirks is actually brilliant from a drug dealer or a hope predator's point of view. Where else can you find vulnerable families with powerless children knowing that their lives are gonna become living Hells for being different? As soon as a kid who's Quirkless is found just reach out a hand and tell them there's a way for the child to live a normal life... For a price... and more often than not the families will probably take the opportunity. Think about it... If you got a diagnosis that your child had a debilitating disease that would effect them for the rest of their lives in a negative way where the majority of society won't be accepting or caring, and THEN that same doctor tells you that there's a way to save your child from that living Hell and give him a normal life... would you take that offer or leave your child to their fate?

I have to disagree on the mocking of Naval Laser, I think that it may have been some other quirk before being planted into Yuga, but it manifested that way in him because of the differences in a quirkless person's body. What if it didn't come with a power source, but the previous users had evolutions outside the quirk factor that powered the laser, but it came from the eyes or something. It would attach closer to the digestive tract, which is technically our power plant, and he processes food faster when powering it? That, or he has a loose rectum, and flexing his abs for longer than a second makes him poop himself.

Ordinarily I come with some kind of counter. I can’t even counter anything here. The doctor would ABSOLUTELY make those offers. Deku is naturally quirkless, the story doesn’t work otherwise with his foundations of a person, and if he did have one, it’s crying fountains. So no. The most important thing to focus on now is who is the person that gave the Aoyama’s their orders? THAT is the biggest question mark. Maybe Aoyama's family is targeted due to being (seemingly) well off? Inko is a single parent so probably doesn't have the same access to resources connections. I was going to argue that there is a difference but the more i think about it the more it makes sense. In both cases the quick is incompatible with the body, though for different reasons. Dabi at least still has some degree of adaptation to his quirk, if he didn't i doubt he could use it as effectively as he does. Aoyama got the short end of the stick since being born quirkless meant he had no inherit adaptation to deal with the quirks effects, resulting in the poor boy getting the full brunt of the backlash.

In all honesty I don’t think deku had his quirk stolen, I think he had a quirk all along, but it was useless, unless he had double quirks like shoto. I like to think that deku’s quirk is x2, in where he doubles the power of the other quirk he has, but since he never had another quirk, it appeared to be non existent, and he appeared to be quirk less, just like the first one for all user.

We know that powers are based off their personalities. We know that yuga didn't wanna stand out or be different but the quirk he received ended up causing the opposite effect which is prolly why he is still unaclimated to his quirk. For deku he has that selfless and heroic personality which is kinda in line with one for all so maybe that's why deku is able to adapt to it so well because he is exponentially more in tune with ofa instead of yuga and his naval laser(plus cmon...the amount of training deku put himself through as compared to yuga...)

Oof, so much Aoyama slander. I know his quirk looks goofy in operation but it's pretty decent in utility. Not only can he shoot powerful long-range laser attacks, but he can also use his beam upwards to project a massive light signal that can bring civilians and allies together during emergencies. I'd honestly rather have naval laser than invisibility, pop off, tail, sugar rush, anivoice, or dupli-arms. Plenty 1A kids have goofy quirks. Sero shoots tapes for god's sake. And Aoyama has trained his quirk hard just like everyone else. Just as how Uraraka can now float for a longer duration without getting nausous, Aoyama too can now shoot for much longer than before. Besides, it's worth noting that his aim is amazing. It would take anyone mad skill to aim a laser accurately from their BELLY, and Aoyama's control is so good that he can freaking carve a sentence on a rock with his laser. Anyway, stan Aoyama because he's about to be a top-tier character.

As many injuries as Izuku has had to his legs and feet earlier on, wouldn't his feet have been x-rayed again? If so, and he had a previous quirk that was taken, wouldn't the pinky-toe joint show it? I'm not aware of anything saying that the toe joint changes when a quirkless gets a quirk. Just a theory of course.

Even in the first episode it seemed almost too coincidental that the slime villain would just so happen to find him, thus drawing Almight to him.

Its quiet possible that they didnt offer it to deku's mother simply because from a buissness stand point she has nothing to offer, no paymnet. But with Yugas family having a lot to offer and already searching out sketchy means the terms are less likely to be shot down, no fear of anyone running to the athorities if offended. Its practical to think that safe houses and money laundering was in their wheel house, but Dekus mom... I dont think so, they live on a budget, she doesnt have a criminal record or anything of imediate use that could be exchanged for a quirk

I think it makes sense that Izuku can handle his quirk and Aoyama can't. Before All Might gave him his quirk, he had Izuku undergo a hard training regiment so his body could handle it. All For One just gave Aoyama a quirk without any training.

I've got a theory. I'd like to hear what ya think about it. So the guy that made this manga and by default the series, says he is heavily inspired by the western superheroes. Here's my take from that, because it was only in recent years that I learned that Rogue from X-Men had a mental block on her powers, so they could grow and evolve or rather "Awaken" properly. So with that in mind, what if that is the case with Yuga? All that guilt and so much else, prevents him from mentally and emotionally (which are the keys for physical side} unlocking and mastering his Quirk under an "Awakening" as it were. Though if it ain't that, could just be the Quirk is, a double edged sword. After all, that fool AFO has been stated to only steal simple Quirks, because he cannot be bothered to master and "Awaken" them, but that in itself might be because, he can't do either of those things even if he stole a Quirk that had awakened. Its like the whole "Someone stole Goku's body bit"; they'll never be able to use that body in the way it was meant to, that would actually work. Meaning that AFO has next to no hope nor does Tomura, of doing anything more than cobbling Quirks together and trying to boost them artificially instead of organically, like Deku.

Idea, this going with the whole quirk capacity thing that's been canon in the movies and anime You can only hold a quirk with your quirk capacity Deku "probably had a quirk before something happened", so he still maintained that capacity, even if rusty While Aoyama never had it, that's why its not acclimating to him. Its like holding your breath without a lung you were born with, while Deku was using his summer training to get potty trained.his lungs reconditioned to holding it again

So she most likely simply didn't have what it takes to say to her son that she doesn't want him to become a hero due to how much dangerous it is. It was only until he gained One For All is that she actively trying to persuade him to not becoming a hero. Also, why nobody in MHA is seeing hero worship as a problem?! Truthfully I think Dr. Garaki lied to Yuga and his Parents I mean in his eyes why give them a valuable quirk when they are already this desperate? I think Dr. Garaki scammed them maybe in a manner something like "The tests we've done shown that this quirk is the most compatible for your son." As for Naval Laser I feel like reason the quirk seems faulty is cause unfortunately Yuga doesn't have a compatible body for it. I think it's original owner would have a naturally reinforced abdomen in order to safely use it. Like if AFO stole Mina's Acid quirk and gave it to some random joe they would probably melt from the inside out because they wouldn't have Mina's natural tolerance that developed as a result of the Acid quirk.

I think all the major theories will come true. Ayoma being the traitor, a lot of people wanted the prison break arc. People wanted Stain to meet All Might again, theorized Dabi is Endevor son,time travel theory but was debunked. Horikoshi delivers for the fans but sometimes it’s better to have original ideas but I’m not shitting on the author and I love this anime. It's what I've been saying. Ujiko is like a celebrity doctor. Dude is big time. It makes no sense that a nobody like Deku would be his patient. It makes way more sense that Deku had a powerful, but dangerous quirk that inko sought help with when deku was a baby. Ujiko then offered an experimental procedure to remove his quirk. It's Aoyama but in reverse.

sure naval laser doesn't seem that effective but i think aoyama uses it well. his costume design helps channel the massive laster energy throughout his suit and he can shoot lasers from the orbs on his knees shoulders and palm at a more concentrated blast. the main naval laser is the big ko move i think. and he's greatly increased both his fire power and endurance. lets not forget he passed the entrance exam he is at UA one of the top if not the top hero school in the country
