To be honest, if deku can use all of his quirks then he'll win every event with no difficulty whatsoever. I see what you mean with Iida, but Iida got that fast when he was going all out with the help of the entire class and BARELY kept up. Deku was worn out with no sleep, food, and constant fighting. He was about to faint any second and still almost outsped Iida. I think a well rested Deku could go way beyond that speed. Also don't forget that Iida stood on the water in that pool episode, deku swam and outsped him with one quirk. It's pretty obvious that Deku would still be faster.

yea idk what he’s talking about lida is fast but deku still is faster especially with black whip as a slingshot and with the help of gear shift and fa jin he can strengthen the stretch and strength of black whip to propel him further and highly increased speed. lida could do it a few times but with dekus speed he could finish before most even make it past the start. don’t forget that he can also go offensive at the same time making more tendrils to hit others and use smoke screen to throw off enemies sight. then float could be used to fly over bots and attack by other students. no matter the argument deku SOLOS. in the fight with deku and afo he didn’t go all out because he didn’t want to kill shigaraki so if deku went all out 1,000,000% he could have given mha a world record for worlds shortest anime final battle.

@@dragodraco7511 ya according to Inko both her and Izuku's father are 4th/5th generation quirk users. If that was the case it is highly unusual that Izuku doesn't have a quirk. Everyone that we see that are born quirkless have parents that have really weak quirks or had just recently had quirks develop in their bloodline. We are led to believe that Izuku came from a long line of quirk users and for some reason doesn't have one. Let's not forget to mention that Izuku has connections to AFO before OFA. He also has similar physical features and mannerisms to AFO. Lastly, AFO has never tried to kill Izuku even when he had opportunities to and based on the previous OFA users AFO doesn't usually let them live long. Some may say that it's because AFO wants to retrieve OFA first but, he has shown to not care about getting it based on the fact he tried to kill/assassinate Allmight on several occasions when he thought Allmight still had it.

fun fact for those who haven't been rewatching the anime while waiting for season 7: Uraraka took her internship with Gunhead, BECAUSE of her fight with Bakugou, meaning her gunhead martial arts are technically MEANT to fight Bakugou. So I'd argue she'd win. She only lost because of three reasons. 1) She wasn't good at close combat 2) Her quirk was far too limited as her body gave out before the fight ended 3) She didn't fully understand Bakugou's fighting style. Now, she has her gunhead martial arts for close combat, which again, she only learned BECAUSE OF BAKUGOU. She's improved her quirk throughout her training and both the wars. And she's spent an entire year, two wars, and multiple school events/attacks with Bakugou and the rest of 1a. She'd win, because everything that made her lose last time, is non-existent this time around. edit: I mean She'd win against Bakugou, Deku would end her in a one vs one

Even if he floats he can propel himself, and his attacks are leagues more potent and accurate. Plus he’s also really good at close combat. Gunhead is literally useless against Bakugo. Ochako would still not get close enough to touch Bakugo since Bakugo would still have the advantage of having range attacks. Also, she didn't learn Gunhead only because of Bakugo it was more of a thing to become a better fighter. This would be like saying Izuku only learned shoot style because of Hatsume.

And upon unlocking Dark Whip Shoto thought they he had 2 abilities all along and just suppressed Dark Whip before like Shoto did. Speaking of which as a result of him surprising the flames Shoto didn't have as much power or control over it as he does with ice until he got a lot more training and experience with fire so the 2 powers aren't immediately linked they 2 powers 1 name but still 2 So 2 separate powers can still happen

@@crisisasp5396 The quirk evolution of Uraraka do really rejects the laws of inertia in an area after she releases all of her power at once, forcing all matter whom she thinks needs to float will be floated up high enough. I have noticed it when Kamui Woods tried to grip onto the ground due to the gravity being held all at once. Plus, even in the Toga and Uraraka fight, Toga do use her quirk to multiply Twice's hordes, but it will still float upwards even if its new. So, it does really affects even a certain matter, in which there is something more than just floating, something very lethal that Uraraka always sees her quirk as a quirk to save everyone.

I honestly think that Deku would win the obstacle course part of the festival, because of his new quirk, Gearshift. Since this quirk basically allows him to defy the laws of physics, with the speed he could go, along with the agility that comes with it, I think Deku's speed would blow Iida's out of the water, especially since when Iida did catch up to Deku, his face looked like it was on the edge of getting ripped off of his head. I looked up how fast people thought Deku could go with Gearshift and Fa Jin, and some people said as fast as Mach 5, which would definitely be the fastest there. I dont wanna be that person but Deku wins the race. Iida only caught up because they had to use aboutt 5 different quirks to catch up with a deku that hadnt eaten, been sleep deprived, had been fighting villains and hadnt drank for several weeks. Not to mention the quirks used consisted of: Momo (Rails), Todoroki (Ice platform and Fire as well i think not sure), Uraraka (Floating), Bakugo (propelling), Iida (Boosting) These quirks are some of the strongest in UA and the series as a whole all needed to catch up to deku who like i said is sleep deprived, hungry and overworked deku who not only had been lile that for weeks but had been blown up twice. In the sports festival, deku wouuld have been well rested, well fed, have fixed up his support gear and have drank too. There is no way Iida could beat him in a race. Deku has proved time and time again that he is faster than Iida and this Season is no different. Another thing to mention is Iida isnt consistently fast. He gets fast but it doesnt last forever. Its like fajin but less fast. Its like a speed boost, temporary.

I thought I’d have a go at what I think would happen. Obstacle race: (My Ranking) 1. Shihai Kuroiro (Hides inside Deku’s shin pads or boots and edges out just at the end to take the win. Why would he choose Tokoyami when he’s seen Deku’s strength?) 2. Neito Monoma (Would have joined Kuroiro in his sneaky plan) 3. Deku (It’s not just a speed race it’s also a fight, he would attack to try and knock Iida off course.) 4. Tenya Iida 5. Katsuki Bakugo 6. Shoto Todoroki 7. Fumikage Tokoyami (With all the light Iida, Bakugo and Shoto would be producing, Tokoyami couldn’t get further without significantly weakening dark shadow and slowing down) 8. Pony Tsunotori (Flight to avoid obstacles along with speed is a few useful thing) 9. Setsuna Tokage 10. Ibara Shiozaki (Explained away by place 15) 11. Yosetsu Awase (Explained Away by place 15) 12. Mei Hatsume (Explained away by place 15) 13. Ochako Uraraka (Explained away by place 15) 14. Kosei Tsuburaba (The choice below will explain away this one) 15. Juzo Honenuki (Juzo can soften the ground and swim through it. So whilst it doesn’t work on those who can move in the air or simply outrun the softening like Iida, it will stop pretty much everyone else in their tracks. However the softening will likely move with Juzo so it’s not an absolute game over for some people, they just have to wait behind him. For those above him, Shiozaki can extend her vibes below the softening to walk across it with vine stilts. Awase’s Weld quirk could weld the softened particles together so he could walk on them and with his rather impressive speed he’d be able to run past what Juzo softened and take on the rest of the course. Mei has her gadgets to fly, they’re not super fast but they’d work well to combat Juzo. Ochako can make herself float for a bit to float over Juzo’s softening. And Tsuburaba can make solid air platforms for him to move across.) 16. (Behind Juzo whilst they all have to wait for the softening or risk getting trapped in it, they will likely fight one another to keep the others further behind. But in a 25 person free for all I can hardly predict the ordering. I would reckon those with capture abilities like Mineta and Sero would do well, Toru could just stay hidden except from Shoji and Jiro, and people would probably stop talking entirely in fear of Shinso. But other than that he doesn’t have too many abilities that would help him.) Cavalry battles: Kuroiro with the 10 Million could hide in one of his teammates black clothing with the headband and never have it taken from them. If he and Monoma both did that on a team of 3 with Juzo, Juzo could just stay below ground occasionally popping up for air and the three of them could take the 10 million to the final round. These three are known for being tacticians, so it makes sense they would use this sneaky tactic to make it to the 1 on 1 fights. Deku, Bakugo and Shoto would choose different teams. But I also feel like Iida and Tokoyami would join that list as they’ve come to see the other 3 as rivals. On Deku’s team I imagine he’ll choose his friends, Uraraka, Tsuyu and Mineta. With Mineta having the headband and using his balls to stick it to a bit of tape he nicked from Sero in the previous round. And with Deku’s speed they would be extremely difficult to deal with. Bakugo I imagine would choose Kirishima, Kaminari and Jiro. I feel like theirs would be more hard won but may ultimately make it through. Tokoyami I imagine going along with his good friend Shoji. Using the tactic Shoji used last year to protect Tsuyu and Mineta, Shoji could carry Tokoyami in darkness to power up Dark Shadow. And with how Shoji has improved a sneak attack like last time is impossible. Shoji could run around as the two of them use their tentacles and claws to steal headbands and protect their own. Both are also very strong. Iida I think would make a team of the class Presidents and vice presidents. All four of them are quite smart, and just as Momo gets on with Kendo, Iida gets on with Shoda. And the four of them would make a formidable team. With Iida’s speed they would be nigh on impossible to catch. I reckon with Shoda’s mobility he would likely be the headband wearer and stealer. I’d also like to note that I think there is a reason Horikoshi decided to make him the Class B member who was brainwashed in the first cavalry battle. Because he’s too strong. I must admit I left Shoto with comparatively slim pickings. But the other teammates make a lot of sense. I think I’ll put Ojiro, Sato and Tetsutetsu on his team. Ojiro because they were together in the joint training arc. Sato because Ojiro and Sato trained together under Shishido. And Tetsutetsu because he’d need someone at the front who could take his fire and they got friendly after their battle with one another. And recognised eachothers strength’s. Although due to Jiro being able to really hurt Tetsutetsu with sound I think this team would loose their headband to Bakugo’s team. And on a team Shoto can’t go all out without hurting them. Well apart from Tetsutetsu that is. 1 on 1 fights: 1. Kuroiro 2. Monoma 3. Juzo 4. Deku 5. Uraraka 6. Tsuyu 7. Mineta 8. Shoji 9. Iida 10. Momo 11. Kendo 12. Shoda 13. Bakugo 14. Kirishima 15. Kaminari 16. Jiro I think Tokoyami and Shoji would likely be the lowest scoring team to make it through, and everyone knowing is weakness to light I think Tokoyami would bow out and let Shoji have a go. Then I’ll randomise the fights from those 16. Round 1: Kirishima vs Kuroiro Kuroiro is sly and very willing to use underhanded tactics that’ll grind Kirishima’s gears. Kuroiro knows he can’t hurt Kirishima, so he’ll use his superior speed to train Kirishima near the edge of the arena, jump into his black trousers and push out the other side, using Kirishima’s momentum and Kuroiro’s own strength to push him out of the arena. Kirishima is good at holding against attacks he knows are coming, but not when his own attack is used against him. Kuroiro wins! Jiro vs Iida Iida would kick her out of the arena before she could think. Iida wins! Mineta vs Juzo Juzo would soften the ground and go below it, Mineta couldn’t do anything against it, he’d fall in and get trapped by Juzo as it re hardens. I’m pretty sure trapping counts as a win. Juzo wins! Tsuyu vs Shoda The data book says Shoda is at his best in 1 on 1’s. And Tsuburaba said that during the joint training arc he couldn’t go all out because he was trying to protect Yanagi and Kodai. We are yet to see him in his optimal position, and we’ve already seen his strength to take on Mina and Mineta pretty much on his own whilst protecting two people who were really just holding him back. I reckon Shoda can twin impact his steps for speed to get in close, reach Tsuyu when she jumps and punch her out of the arena. Shoda wins! Bakugo vs Uraraka We’ve already seen this. Bakugo wins! Momo vs Kendo We’ve already seen this. Kendo wins! Kaminari vs Deku Kaminari gets stomped. Deku wins! Shoji vs Monoma Monoma would likely have copied some of his classmates quirks before the fight. Likely not those who are already in the top 16 since they likely know his power and don’t want him to make it to a fight with them. So that rules out Kendo, Shoda, Juzo and Kuroiro. We can probably also rule out Awase, Shiozaki and Tetsutetsu since they were the 3 who didn’t go along with his plan in the first sports festival along with Juzo. They likely don’t like his tactics. Then of the remaining quirks available I believe he would pick Shishida’s Beast, Fukidashi’s Comic, Komori’s Mushroom and Kamakiri’s Razor Sharp. But Shoji is quite versatile himself. Monoma may try to suffocate him with Mushroom. Too bad, Shoji can make more mouths to breathe from. Monoma may try to overpower him with Beast. Too bad, Shoji has his own super strength capable of damaging a giant hardened Spinner. Although I will say that who would come out on top in a pure strength match is harder to say. But given Shoji can infinitely produce tentacles to aid him in a battle of strength, I’d say he has Monoma best there. But Monoma may try to cut off Shoji’s tentacles with Razor Sharp. Too bad Shoji can make more and he has the pain tolerance that he’s dealt with an arm being lopped off before along with being burned by Dabi’s flames and still having the strength to save Deku from Toga. And if Monoma tries to knock Shoji out of the ring with Manga’s comic onomatopoeia barrage, Momo was able to dodge it. And Shoji is far faster than her. The Zoom’s might be able to hit him, but they are hardly strong enough to push Shoji out of the arena. And before long Monoma’s voice would get strained too much. And the thing about Dupli-arms is that it’s incredibly difficult to use. During the training camp, when describing the training all the 1A students did, Shoji’s was the only one Horikoshi said “sounds particularly arduous”. So even if Monoma had saved a slot to copy Shoji, it’s unlikely he’d even be able to use it well. It would be an incredibly difficult battle but I think I have to say. Shoji wins! Round 2: Kuroiro vs Iida Iida would charge at Kuroiro. Iida doesn’t really have any black on him Kuroiro could escape into, so Kuroiro would likely just be kicked out of the arena. Iida wins! Juzo vs Shoda Juzo would soften the ground and Shoda would be stuck in it since he’s unable to fly. Juzo wins! Bakugo vs Kendo Bakugo easily blasts Kendo out of the arena. Bakugo wins! I also feel like people are less likely to choose Shinso with knowing his quirk it sort of makes it useless. So I don’t think he’d be on Monoma’s team. And Tetsutetsu and Kendo don’t really agree with Monoma. I feel like they’d choose other teams.

Only thing I don’t agree with is that the students would be allowed to wear hero costumes. The Sports Festival consists of all tracks in UA, so students in the business/support/general studies tracks would be severely behind the hero students making it effectively impossible for anyone else to shine outside the hero course. Of course the show itself doesn’t focus on anybody outside the hero course either, but even in the show’s canon, second and third years as far as we’ve seen all still wear their gym uniforms during the festival even though they also have licenses and tons more experience.
