I like how Dick called in help from Titans and other big guns to help him defeat an enemy; it's something Batman rarely does and Batman rarely likes other heroes in his city. This further shows the difference between Dick and Bruce. Dick will welcome other heroes to Bludhaven to help him, Bruce doesn't welcome other heroes to Gotham and usually kicks them out if they do appear, all the while shouting something about how Gotham is "his" city and that he doesn't need help.

not exactly i get what you mean but no it was an arc at first he was standoffish then he learned to accept help like in one if my favorite books i read in middle school the bat, the ring, and the arrow it was a dope read and shows an early batman learning to work with others who have very conflictingly different personalities than him i.e green arrow & green lantern that being said im very excited to finally see more of this fully recognized nightwing and what he does in the future especially with bruce(WHO THEY BATTER GIVE HIS FORTUNE, MANOR, AND CAVE BACK AFTER THIS LIL BROKEMAN ARC)

I love this. It really shows ALfred's character. He served the Waynes as a butler for decades, they paid him pretty well, but he clearly didn't do it for the money as he willingly became like and adoptive father and raised Bruce after his parents died, and even after Bruce became old enough to live his own life, Alfred stayed with Bruce still serving loyally as his butler and closest ally, doing whatever he needed to aid Bruce as Batman. And logically Alfred still lived at Wayne Manor, thus makes sense that rather then enjoying the money he was paid, Alfred invested it and on his death willed it to Bruce's adopted son Dick. Alfred certainly didn't need it. I love ALfred, such a kind old man who was more then a butler, he was family to the Waynes.

Given how openly criminals and crooked officials went after him for it, wouldn’t that serve as a point in Bruce’s favour for keeping his contributions outside of the cowl more downlow? Bruce may have the power to help Gotham with the Wayne fortune, but appearing as the aloof or ineffectual billionaire (outside of funding reconstruction and charities) works in his favour by virtue of supervillains not going out of their way to try and kill him in his civilian identity- which would almost certainly have led to them discovering his alter ego far earlier, as the greatest weakness of any superhero’s secret identity is close examination.

I've always said that I'm a steward of my money, and homes. They will outlive me. If I was given billions. I'd invest it wisely. Then start charities that I PERSONALLY oversee. I would start free gyms/dorms/cafeterias/ and rec room, all in one. So kids in inner cities will have a safe place to go, get aggression out, and eat. That would prevent more crime than I can imagine. I'd give myself an allowance, unlike most people who inherit, or win money. Money = security, and the ability to help a ton of people.

5:59 this part annoys me. If Alfred left the money to Dick because of the way he thinks then the money should've gone to Tim Drake instead. Tim was always the more cerebral of the Robins, and the only one who could possibly be Batman's intellectual equal. Just another case of Dick favoritism and the writers forgetting that Red Robin exists. Would finally have been something that could bring Tim more into the limelight and give him relevance again, instead they gave it to Dick who could easily have gone without an still excelled as Nightwing.

Red Robin has tried to kill Bruce in the past and doesn't have a no-killing rule. While neither does Alfred, it doesn't necessarily line up with his ideal of who a Superhero should be. Tim Drake on the other hand, has the intellect to rival batman but not the creativity/insanely high moral compass/fighting ability. Of course a point can be made for all of the Robins but it does make sense that Dick was a candidate and likely to receive it. Also it is fair to take into account that Tim Drake has never been a popular Robin and Jason Todd's character Arc wouldn't make sense if he wasn't in Gotham/ being incredibly aggressive and angry as a Hero. Just my two cents.
