It's very refreshing to watch a cool YT video and not have a bunch of cursing but rather a cool personality from a Believer. Much appreciated sir.

Nice Job Ron. Will never forget a huge V plow on really large Road grader on 2 lane road hill down to path with snow higher than state trucks, our wrecker and the V-Plow on each side. Felt like we were in a tunnel. Used 3 snatch blocks, tied off to three salt trucks in front of us chained together and our wheel chocks just buried into asphalt. The state had a huge end-loader even pushing the grader. Those cables were talking. Took cover inside wrecker heads down behind big bulk head cab guard. First time in 50 years the state gave up, left the grader and closed the road, till blizzard was over. Those old timers did so reluctantly. It would of been crazy for anyone to be out driving, but it took my dad finally telling them he admitted defeat to get them to give up. Back in those days dad never charged the state or police for calls. He always told me it pay off later and it did many times. Laws where changing about towing company rotation back in the 80’s, guys bought wreckers thinking it was gravy. Did not last long. At 2 in the morning when they got called, they realized fast it was a 24/7 365 job to be successful and got out of towing business fast.

I'm happy to report that I've learned a bit from watching you. Yesterday, I had to take a tractor with a pro-tote attached to pick up another of our tractors with a blown block in Temple, Texas. I got it chained up and lifted with no problems. Unfortunately, the tractor I was using was my former truck. She's a bit aged. I got about 25 miles and stopped to check my securement, and when I pulled back onto the highway, I disintegrated my fan belt and also blew my turbo. So, 9 hours later my tow truck was towed back to San Antonio by a tow truck. I got back to the yard at 12:45 this morning. They got right on it this morning and she's all better now. Taking the broken truck to Houston day after tomorrow to get a new engine. Fun times. I told the driver of the tow truck that I was happy to see him do his Ron Pratt, he had a chuckle at that.

I must say, you picked the absolutely perfect music for your channel. I smiled, giggled, and said to myself that you found the perfect music to end your video. Glad that nobody was hurt, and it looks funny when plow trucks get stuck. I know all about it. One year we had 4 broke down at the end of my road, because they all broke something trying to get rid of a 20 ft snowdrift from the 5 day blizzard we were in. It was 20 ft high in one spot, and about 75 ft long with an average height of 6 ft along the length, other than the pinnacle at one end. We ended up with over 5 ft of snow over those 5 days. God bless, and keep on keeping it real.

It still astonishes me of the pulling (and overall) power that the Rotator has. And I learned a new word today - "outro" --- Keep 'em coming, Ron. Not only do you show us the capabilities of your talents but we also get some new words to ponder (using) in our day-to-day lives. Thanks for sharing and we'll see you down the road.

First, thanks to the guy driving the "snow plow" truck for making it a bit safer for our friend Ron!!!!! Ron, I don't understand why you didn't have him turn his front wheels your way, then simply pull him out by is front end even if the rear wheels were in what looked to me like a small ditch? ........ Anyway another successful job, no one got hurt. God Bless you and your loved ones... I watched this on 3/130229 (I'm caught up LoL) Thumbs up on your video.

Tator power! That was impressive. That truck had to weight a minimum of 30-large with the 3/4 load on there, plus a mid plow dragging on the ground, and rear tandems digging in 6" ! Oh I can't wait for spring and warm weather! Thanks for sharing, Ron. God bless.

Once again Ron, Thank you for sharing, I wont say a word about being jealous of all that snow you had, but I've not made one Snowman this Winter, but we've just had a bad storm here, water water everywhere, so much so, our local river just burst it's banks, again, only this time, it flooded out the small fairground that comes round every year, the good thing though, no loss of life reported, but as always, God Bless & Stay Safe

I have forgotten exactly what feature the 'winching brake' performs .... I could see the rotator sliding backwards until you set this brake, but your setting it definitely took care of the sliding. I've heard you mention setting this brake in prior videos, but have forgotten exactly what it does. Again, many thanks for sharing. God Bless you as well .... Stay safe, and many Blessings.

The winching brake applies the regular service brakes, just like if someone had their foot on the brake pedal, to increase the rolling resistance.
@DavidWood25 жыл бұрын
The winching brake locks the service brake on on all wheels. It provides more stopping power than the regular parking brake fitted to the truck by the manufacturer.
