The fact that they made 200 odd tracks for an 12 track LP is all the advice I need. 👍🏾

@Strafuzz, can you talk a little more about this? 200 tracks written for one release? OMG

Super good! I’m reworking a late 80s song that originally used all sounds from a Roland XP-30 and this video gave my a dozen awesome ideas. Can’t thank you enough for the inspiration. 😃

Love this Does Guy not know that you could use sample delay in the audio file editor section to make that off-grid effect MUCH easier on himself? That's what i usually do, unless he knows a reason why that might be a worse approach? It makes it so that i never have to worry about alignment when copy/pasting
@ijidau Жыл бұрын
My guess is because he gets pretty intricate with sample placement and wants to see visually. He's mentioned in other videos I've watched that he likes to obsess over each clap/snare/hat placement for variation, although in this stream he obviously doesn't do it. He very likely came back on a latter session to polish those details.

Can someone explain what Predelay does? Also, does the Oxford Limiter have an advantage over the Fabfilter L?
@PluginBoutiqueOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Hello there. Pre-delay pauses the reverb/delay effect from happening for the set time value of the pre-delay. So, if you have a pre-day set to 30ms, your reverb/delay won't start happening until 31ms, for example. - JC
@melsoro73112 жыл бұрын
oxford limiter has no advantage over fabfilter L, its just Guy's personal taste in limiter.
@jojomarino73272 жыл бұрын
In one video, guy mentions Oxford limiter is super transparent. I would trust this, he knows his shit...I'm going to download Oxford limiter demo and have a shoot off with pro L 2 to see which gives the best results . I think this is the best way to find out which specific vst will give the best results on the given material. Experiments! 👨💻

@@UltimateLPCz you can record automation with a mouse in fl
@m.skolar14622 жыл бұрын
You can do this. Just hit record, start mousing the curves, end record, head to recorded view and play. It will show the frequencies change too if you have fab filter on. I'm pretty sure I the vid he uses two of the same plugins one for low and one for high automated freqs.
