Cool, INDEED! Just added Scaler 2.8 to my growing lineup, which already includes Fluid Chords, Fluid Pitch, and several more, all from Plugin Boutique. 👍 Thanks much for this tip!

Man, I'm going to have some FUN with this!! Picked it up yesterday, and I have a project already in work that this will be PERFECT for!

On the plugin instead of clicking the wheel to go up or down for pitch. You can actually hold & click the square itself then drag it up/down to play pitch automatically. Thats something I learned from messing around. I wish there was a way to set a pitch automation and drag midi directly from the plugin similar to what scaler 2 does.

The problem with dragging MIDI out of Fluid Chords is that it would have to be routed to multiple tracks. The plugin does this internally, so it isn't possible to drag MIDI out of it and maintain the pitch bends. It would be cool, though. I wonder if there's a way to automatically create the tracks from inside Fluid Chords. In Reaper, when using plugins (like any drum set) you can automatically create tracks from the outputs. That would be a nice feature.

FYI, the chord you called an "F minor 12" is just an F power chord. Usually a power chord would have a "5" (e.g. F5), but it seems the algorithm used for Fluid Pitch uses the fact that a note is more than an octave above the root note, and adds 7 to it, which gives 12 (this works well for chords like 9ths, 11ths, 13ths, but not so well for power chords, which are always written as C5, D5, E5, etc (you just add a 5). If it was a minor chord it would need an Ab (A flat), and if it was a major it would need an A -- neither of which are in the chord shown. It seems like fluid pitch developers need to get someone to fix some of these chord names. Also, it wouldn't have been a "minor" chord based on the name anyway, because a capital M usually means "major". Wow that was a long comment, sorry haha.

as long as your DAW supports MPE (which I think they all do these days), you can do it.

Hi ! JC is this plugin compatible with arturia's analog lab v ?

I don't be analog lab has MPE support. But, you should definitely double check either with out support team or Arturia's. - JC

BRO, its basically a portamento, or what's called GLIDE function, which every synth basically have. when you overlay midi chords and tune the glide you get the same effect....
@PluginBoutiqueOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Hey there. This is NOT that. Portamento/Glide moves each note of a chord an equal distance. This moves notes from one chord to another. Those chords can have more or less notes and be anywhere on the keyboard. Hope that helps clear things up. - JC

@@PluginBoutiqueOfficial draw a midi chord, now draw another one after, overlay the end of the first on top of the beginning of the other, now turn on glide on your synth. Walla. the chords travel the distance from one to another.

You could use it in a song, but that chord transitions effect becomes repetitive and loses originality if you put it in every song, in one song maybe... it doesn't convince me, although it's okay to experiment...
