I didn't like cats as a child, but the only one I knew was my friend's cat who was part feral and hated everyone, and would even hiss at and claw my friend and her mum. The only human she liked was my friend's dad. I think I was in my late teens before I interacted with another cat - and he was such a sweetheart. I've now lived with cats (miss those cuties since I moved) and would have my own in a heartbeat if I was in the right circumstances to do so. I think because most cats are cautious with unfamiliar humans, compared to dogs who are often excited and friendly with new people, that they get a bad rep. I have known friendly cats who are affectionate to strangers, but many require a little patience as they suss you out.
@sommerblume96712 жыл бұрын
I always say cats are more like humans. Not everyone is touchy feely lovey dovey the moment you meet them. Cats can be anxious or shy or cold just like humans. But a bond with those people is always the strongest, bc you earnt their trust :) especially if youre neurodivergent like me, i can be shy af but those who are close to me are like blood.
@claraberg12142 жыл бұрын
@@Laurastar2009 yess! Absolutely! Anyone that says they hate cats I tell them that they clearly haven't met the right one for them then. A cats affection is a whole different level of love! I just played Sims 1 a little while ago, and it refreshed my memories on a lot of things; in Sims 1, if the sim's social bar is full, they won't want to socialize anymore (that black and red blinking social icon thought bubble means they're tired of socializing), so that's probably why they kept rejecting each other. You'll notice in a lot of old console games that you can't talk to sims all day or spamming social and the relationship bar would take a pause (this could be circumvented by doing group activities that had social, like the hot tub or eating together); I think it's to prevent quick/unsatisfying relationships, which Sims 4 gravely didn't think about. Sims 1 is a cantankerous old hag!
