Great video jimbo, whenever I replace siphons I install Thomas Dudleys as you can unclip and replace the spring and membrane without having to strip down the cistern

Every days a school day...every toilet job I go to I replace the syphon, fill valve, doughnut, plate, bolts & washers, inlet pipe/hose and isolator and since I started doing this I have also found I sleep better !

I have replaced my toilets 3 times, repaired/replaced pipes under my sinks, washing machine and shower, replaced faucets, changed iron pipes to PVC. Am I a plumber? No way, dirty job! Amazing what we learn, trying to save money.😅

I remember when manufacturers made all these parts so that they could all be maintained from the top without having to remove the complete cistern and could be done in minutes but I suppose that didn’t make enough work for plumbers.

I fit Dudley syphons to my rentals when they need doing. They don't need the tank taking off to replace the diaphram.

Mate, just wanna say I'm in the middle of putting in our new bathroom and I've never done anything like it before. Ive followed all your videos and have so far not made too many errors 😂. It's so great that if you're stuck on anything you can just turn to a saved video of yours and get it worked out so thanks very much for all the videos.
