Number one is very case specific, that MIGHT do the job for some blockages, but that's nothing a decent plunger wouldn't be able to do anyways. Plus, you're having to cleanup and peel all of that tape off, unless you're going to specify exactly what tape to use and how to apply, most people might end up flooding their bathroom if it's not airtight. You're inviting failure at that point. Use a goddamned plunger, or better yet, get a snake. Number two is a BIG no no. You might end up fixing the leak, but you're essentially reducing the inner size of the pipe, and if this is a proper building and isn't just some random backyard BS, that pipe probably a downpipe for the roof drain. The sizes of these are specified to the size of the roof as well as accounting for potential live loads of water. If you reduce the size, the roof may not be able to drain the water fast enough in the event of a big rainfall. The water bottle showerhead... It's just laughable, and plumber worth their penny wouldn't be caught dead trying to jerry rig that shit. You're spending more time and effort creating that monstrosity instead of just replacing the damn fixture. The last one, you're literally just making a reservoir tank. This is not a tip. There are many factors at play with this one. As a guy who builds houses for a living, tips are supposed to be informative, constructive, and short. You're giving us a bad name with these "secret things ______ does". Being passive aggressive with commenters with the "please tell me the importance with using proper materials" is insane, if you need us to explain what's wrong. Then you really shouldn't be posting these videos. Super unprofessional.

А так, есть и специальные приблуды и варианты ...

There isn't a plumber in the US that is using a 5 gallon water bottle as a toilet tank. Want to know why? It's a violation of federal law to do so. According to current US regulations, no toilet can flush more than 1.6 gallons per flush. In the not too distant future that amount is going to be decreased to 1.28 gallons. Most homeowners would laugh at such a ridiculous repair. Even if it were temporary. There isn't a plumber poking holes in a soda bottle to make a shower head as well. There isn't a plumber who is doing anything depicted in this video. Mostly due to being ridiculous 'fixes', let alone code violations.

Da ich sämtliche Arbeiten selber gemacht habe, was es von Vorteil das ich selber denken konnte. Ich bin jetzt Rentner (67), aber meine Erfahrungen und Fähigkeiten werden heute noch öfters angefragt. Heute gibt es ja fast nur noch Fachidioten die sich überhaupt keine Gedanken um die nächsten Arbeitsschritte machen.
